Turkey Hollow is nestled in the rolling hills of Holmes County Ohio. We are right on the edge of the largest Amish settlement in the nation. The primitive campground is in the corner of a small 40 acre farm owned by Matt Polcyn. He started the campground 8 years ago because of his love for nature and real camping. He enjoys traveling in many places in the States and the Caribbean islands and loves finding places off of the beaten path and not commercialized. Because of his interest and love for primitive camping he decided to open the campground in order to provide the same opportunity as a getaway primitive camping location that he tries to find when he travels. We now just added a in the trees, warm water rinse off area.

Privacy Plus
We had a good time and enjoyed the privacy. Everything was as expected and went smoothly. Thanks for the accommodations. The access to wagons for hauling gear was a real thoughtful touch. Make sure you have a 4x4 in the wet/winter seasons to climb the turns on the hills, they are pretty tight turns.

Top notch place to spend the night. Very quiet and calm, and the cows were fun to watch. It was pretty wet outside so I didn’t get to see the forest sites but I’ll be back someday.

Great place he has here!! Excellent sunset and very private. Lots of available spots, some on grass some in the woods so nice variety. Very clean potty as well and easy access to 2 water pipes. I also do HipCamp on my property but this was my first time staying at one and I was very impressed, definitely recommend!!

Beautiful area with a lot of privacy. Walking in the woods got a little tricky with the number of walnuts hidden under the leaves but the kids loved the adventure!
