You can head directly onto the Summit Trail from Summit Campground, though you might not make it past the hot dogs and relaxation at this small and peaceful campground. Choose from walk-in sites for a private party, or choose one of the larger sites with picnic shelters and plenty of space for your RV. Each site offers fire pits and restrooms, and the quick access to day parking and the Summit Trail means you can invite the whole gang down for a day of hiking, and still make it back in time to grub on some lunch!
