Need to recharge, reconnect and truly escape it all? This is your place. Our property is a unique, healing place to unplug and be surrounded by the beauty of eastern North Carolina. Nestled along the Neuse River with big mature trees draped with Spanish moss ,we have 1000ft of riverfront as well as a peaceful pond, dock and prayer/mediation labyrinth.
You will experience the gnarliest, most unforgettable sunsets, overwhelming peace, tranquility and a supreme connection back to nature. With only a 10 minute drive to historic downtown New Bern, you can experience the best of both worlds. Many people tell us, and we know it true ourselves, there is something truly healing about our property, come find out!
-Our campsite is located on a peninsula surrounded by the river, because of the nature of the property, we do not allow children under 10 to visit.
-Firewood is not provided but can be purchased at KOA just down the highway.
-Fishing licenses are required for those wishing to fish
-On your ride down our dirt road you will pass mobile homes about a 1/4 of a mile from us. These are our friendly neighbors that keep to themselves and do not interact with our property. If you are not comfortable driving past that, this might not be the campsite for you. This is very common in rural North Carolina.
-Campsite is for 5 people and 2 tents max. If you have more than 5 people coming please request to add additional people to your reservation.
-Our bathroom has a sink, toilet & electricity. There is no shower available. Our property is unlike any other in Craven County. Nestled along the Neuse River with 1,000 feet of waterfront, you will experience the gnarliest sunsets, overwhelming peace and tranquility and a supreme connection back to nature (plus, we have a bathroom for you!). Not only are you surrounded by the Neuse River, we also have a beautiful pond on our property as well as a prayer labyrinth, dock and boat ramp for launching your kayaks/canoes. We have 2 campsites, one on the pond and one on the river/peninsula--this site is for the river/peninsula. With only a 10 minute drive to historic downtown New Bern you can experience the best of both worlds. Some of the wildlife you may see: bald eagles, beavers, jumping mullets, hawks, dear, geese, turtles, cranes. We have a bathroom facility that has toilet, sink and electricity. 1-2 tents with 4 people total (or add an additional 2 people for $5/person) are permitted for this site, and only those on the reservation are permitted on the property. We are surrounded by water and this campsite is on a peninsula that has marsh on both sides, it is not a safe place for small children no matter how well behaved they are. We love kids, but acknowledge this is not a safe environment for small children. *Please keep in mind that we are on the water and may be subject to high winds and rough waters depending on the weather, no refunds will be given due to cancellation for weather*
Many people have told us, and we agree ourselves, this place is truly healing. You will leave feeling a sense of renewal, peace and a connection back to nature.
