I have 83 acres of prime camping with close to a mile of boatable river frontage that runs into Lake James and borders Shiflet Airfield and I can offer flyin camping. This is a working nursery with plenty of room for campers and views of Mnt. Mitchell, the highest elevation in Eastern North America.

Pond Side RV

Privacy and seclusion!!

Fantastic property with tons of space to run around with our doggies. Got to watch several small planes land and take off which was an added bonus. So private and felt like we had our own slice of the world. Highly recommend!!

Riverside Camp #1

Charlie’s property is beautiful! So peaceful and the different access points along the river gave us so much to do. Charlie was a wonderful host! We will definitely come back!

Pond Side RV

Such a peaceful, beautiful campsite. No one is there...Our "Four Legged Kids" can run free. They love it. We had a bonfire every night and listened to the night sounds. Nothing better...Great Place !!!!

Fabulous RV spot

Wonderful private spot with all the hookups! Clear directions on how to get to the spot which we found even in the dark of night. Got to watch an airplane take off in the morning as well! Def would stay again! Thanks Charlie!

Riverside Camp #1

We had a blast camping in our travel trailer on Charlie’s land. It was nice to be close to town but you felt out there. Watching the small airplanes was really neat, as well. Charlie is a very nice guy and we hope to visit again soon.

Secluded and spacious

Great spot by the river. We actually stayed at the tent site due to some confusion and difficultly finding the RV site. We preferred this location anyways so it worked out for us.
