Situated only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire.

We have easy-to-access rustic style camping accommodations for all sized parties traveling with tents, travel trailers and recreational vehicles. We even welcome horse campers, and have many decent riding trails in the area (horse campers need to contact us prior to reserving!).
All of our sites offer privacy, parking, fire pits, family sized tables with benches and restroom facilities situated conveniently nearby. You can request to be in a densely wooded site, perched next to the brook, or nestled on the tree line of our expansive meadow (talk about views!).
Popular attractions within a stone’s throw from us include; a gorgeous walk back in time at Canterbury’s Shaker Village, Golfing at Canterbury Woods, a unique pint of ale at Canterbury Aleworks, fabulous pick-your-own fruits and vegetables at Hackleboro Orchard, OR if you find yourself running low on supplies, Canterbury Country Store boasts having at least one of everything and is situated only one mile away from your campsite!
If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.
Direct bookings and advanced reservations are no problem, and we also try to accommodate last minute bookings whenever we can. No contact check in/out makes it convenient, but we are always available for questions, information, and extra supplies for purchase such as fire wood, drinking water, bug spray and more.
UPON ARRIVAL at the Red Entrance Gate (see map emailed to you), proceed to the Welcome Center just ahead on the left. Stop there and pick up your site pack. It will be clearly marked with your name and will indicate directions to your assigned site. We’ll come around to say hello in person after you get settled.
Contact information is located in the Welcome Center and on our brochure. To get in touch with us prior to coming, use Hipcamp messaging--we will respond quickly.

2. Royal Oak--Tent site, or small camper site for a skilled driver. There are trees that have to be navigated to get a camper into this site. In-site parking. Easily navigable for car.
3. Winterbrook--tents only and in-site parking only for more rugged vehicles, otherwise parking is about 50 feet away.
4. (premire site, separate listing) A tent or van/truck camper site only. Spacious In-site parking. Not a good one for towed campers.
5. A large tent, camper, or RV site with area for turning and maneuvering.

Site 10 is a beautiful open field next to a babbling brook. It’s peaceful and serene. There’s a great fire pit, picnic table and portable toilet.

Exceptional camp. spectacular host
My friends and I had a wonderful time. LeeAnn is amazing, prompt, sweet and understanding. She stops by occassionally in a well mannered way and asks if you need anything, she is great to have a conversation with and very knowledgeable about her grounds and surrounding area. Now lets talk about the campground, what a gorgeous place they have there. Everything clean and well kept, old beautiful pines, clearings have pretty ferns and berry plants that if you dont slow down you might miss it. The brook that cuts through the rear, relaxing, refreshing and crystal clear. Our group consisted of people from different backgrounds and trades and our concensus was that this host, campground, surrounding grounds were BEAUTIFUL and well worth the visit. I sure hope to have the pleasure to see LeeAnn again soon.

Thank you Ariel, your group was wonderful to host and I look forward to seeing you all again soon!!
LeeAnn’s land is absolutely beautiful! She was an amazing host and you could tell she really just wanted the whole group to enjoy nature. We highly recommend this site if you’re riding highland mountain bike park it was about 15 min away and east to get to.
Thank you again LeeAnn!

You picked a fantastic weekend to come and stay and I loved having you all! Looking forward to seeing you again.
Best campground i’ve ever been to!
This campground is amazing and LeeAnn is so nice. We loved staying here. It’s so quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be going back!

It was so great hosting your group and I look forward to next time!
LeeAnn was a great host. She provided us with potable water and delivered firewood for purchase. The site was clean and the grounds were so beautiful. We can’t wait to stay there again next season!

Thank you Jacqueline! Hope to see you again next season.
Gorgeous scenery, quiet and secluded, LeAnn is very helpful and has a lot of history with the area. It was a great time!

Thanks so much Kerrie, hope to see you again next season!
Excellent, private location. The firewood was already stocked on the site when I arrived. Perfect location to spend your vacation.

Thank you Cole!!
Pitch Perfect is a perfect place to camp! The sites are ample sized and spaced out appropriately from other campers but not so far that you feel totally isolated. We stayed in site #5 and it was wonderful. There was perfect spots to place our tents and the site was close enough (but not too close) to the Sani-cans.
The location is beautiful and LeeAnn is a wonderful host. We loved that she checked in with us daily without being intrusive and we could order wood and she would deliver to us!

I loved having you as a guest!! Thank you for the kind words and I hope to see you again next season!
Great site! Secluded and quiet. The sites are plenty spread out. So, good for privacy. LeeAnn was very nice. We stopped by the Canterbury Aleworks and grabbed a couple growlers and relaxed by the fire. Great beer, great site and great experience. Will definitely be back!

So glad you enjoyed it and that you also tried out our local Aleworks!! Hopefully, we'll see you again next season.
