Description

In 1939 Ibex Cabin was built to shelter Forest Service rangers. Today, it can house your camping crew! This is the place to be when it comes to peace and quiet, and a feeling of ultimate relaxation will wash over you the moment you arrive. If you know someone with a four-wheel drive they’ll probably want to do the driving, because the road to the cabin can be tricky. Once you’re here you’ll be greeted by a lovely meadow in the foothills of the Crazy Mountains, and the meadow comes alive with color in the summer. If you can tear yourself away from this lovely sleeping spot, you’ll have endless choices for recreation: hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and more. Just be sure to bring plenty of water and lots of lights—if you don’t, the only light you’ll have at night will be from the moon and the stars (although, that doesn’t sound too shabby!).
