The campground is near Stevenson and May Creeks, where fishing is popular, so you can catch your dinner! Take a day trip to Big Hole National Battlefield, the site of a large battle between the Nez Perce tribe and US troops in 1877. There are also hiking trails nearby, so get out there and explore the rugged backcountry.
