Description

Camp. Fish. Repeat. That’s the general schedule here at Kimball Lake Campground, and if that sounds like your cup of tea, then you’ll be right at home. Kimball Lake is a small lake that’s managed by the state, and it’s well-stocked with rainbow trout. You’ll need a fishing license with a trout stamp to fish here, but then again, if you’ve got Kimball Lake in your plans, you may very well already have those things. Cast from the shore via the non-maintained trail that circles the lake and let the hours of the day melt away in sweet, sweet relaxation. If any members of your camping party aren’t sold on the whole fishing thing, just send ‘em over to nearby Mink Lake where there’s a sandy swimming beach.
