Sunset Cliff tent platform
We loved our stay at Jed’s Sunset Platform. Great location, not too far from Portland and the Seacoast but feels miles away. A short walk from the car to the actual site, where we found a well maintained platform, a fire pit and a few chairs. Great views, lots of Trails, Jed was helpful and communicative. Could not recommend more!!

Sunset Cliff tent platform
Private site
Great site, very private and quiet. Jed was a great host, showed us the way to the site that we were able to off road to with 4 wheel drive. Definitely need some clearance on your truck if you're going to drive out to the site. Jed told us which trails to take to walk down to a small river which was nice to cool off in and only about a 1 mile hike round trip. Will 100% come back again!

Sunset Cliff tent platform
Great spot!
Jed is a KING. He helped us out at the last minute after our initial camping plan fell through at a state park a bit further north. We rolled up during a particularly stunning sunset and he made sure we were able to get out to the site before we ran out of light. Super friendly atmosphere and the land itself was really nice. A peaceful early Spring night. The view through the trees (still bare of leaves at this point) under the moonlight was awesome.

Sunset Cliff tent platform
4x4 access platform camping!
I loved camping at the Sunset platform! The listing description was spot on! If you’re looking for a quiet place in the woods to set up camp and enjoy nature this is the place to be. My dog loved the outdoor freedom and we saw a flock of turkeys making their way across the hillside.

Sunset Cliff tent platform
We had an awesome time at Jed's place. Super secluded, nice view of the sunset, and our dogs loved all of the room to run around. If you have a 4x4 vehicle you can drive right up to the base of the site, otherwise it is a 5-10 minute walk to the spot you can park your car. There is a nice creek that's just down the road that was awesome and looked like it might have some trout but I didn't have my rod to confirm that suspicion. Overall, a great stay.
