Camping by the Pines & Planes
The fact that there’s a commercial garage across the dirt road from the site is what kills it for me. People coming and going all day, loud tools, loud people, loud trucks and tractors. Not my idea of camping.

Great Host!!!!
I was unable to stay at this exact cabin, but I highly recommend booking with this host. I had booked Amy's place to watch the eclipse, but a couple days before we were set to arrive, a massive snowstorm moved through the area. Amy moved us to another cabin down on the Moose River (Gray Ghost Camps: Cabin 10 (bookable on Airbnb)) to avoid issues with getting through snow and mud. Can't thank her enough for the accommodations and for moving us to another cabin unprompted. The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Thanks again Amy!

We absolutely loved our stay at Amy's cabin!! The location in Rockwood was so wonderful and we were able to travel to Jackman and Greenville very easily. We enjoyed ending our long days with a movie and loved using the firepit! The appliances (fridge, toaster, oven, coffee maker) in the cabin were also a huge plus for our stay!
They had gotten a decent amount of rain leading up to our stay, so the road had a bit of washout, but it was still perfectly drivable! I'd definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a rustic getaway and I hope to return :)

Penobscot Log Cabin
I slipped up and thought I booked this cabin in Rockwood, and when I told Amy, she happily accommodated our reservation at her camps there. My friends and I enjoyed it so much that we hope to come back some time in the winter or, at the very least, another fall. Thank you Amy for you kindness, flexibility, and overall wonderful accommodations!

Camping by the Pines & Planes
The site was great! There was firewood on site that Amy said we were free to use. We brought our own camp chairs which turned out to be unnecessary since there were already some nice chairs available. There was a port-a-john available for basic needs. All in all, my wife and I were very pleased!
