W.H.Y Worth Healing Yourself
Amazing as always
This is our second trip here and it’s as amazing as we remember. Afton is more than considerate when it comes to guest needs. She supplied us with water, allowed us to use her propane grill, gave us a lamp to keep warm, and so much more. If you’re a rock nut, this is the place for you. There are so many amazing rocks on the property and I’ve used many I’ve collected here to make beautiful crystal jewelry! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves rocks or someone in need of a very relaxing get away surrounded by nature.

Awesome spot! NOT for cat haters.
This might be long winded, so go grab a beverage... Ok, ready?
If you'd rather watch instead of read, here's my YouTube tour and review...

Afton was an amazingly accommodating host. I bring all my own supplies, but she supplied firewood, water, bug spray, toilet, TP, hand sanitizer, etc.
Upon arrival, I was met by Cabela, the 19 year old hunk of burning love Calico who lives on the property. I called Afton to let her know I was there, and she rolled out of the woods on her UTV.
Shortly after our introductions, her boyfriend, Ryan, showed up. (I'm hoping his name is Ryan. I'm bad with names and alcohol was involved). We had a few beers, got to know each other a bit, and then they headed home and left me to my evening.
No one bothered me. And my music until 3am bothered no one. Win/win for everyone.
Pros and cons are my opinions.
Pros:
Awesome secluded location. My music to the wee hours bothered no one, and I slept until I was done sleeping.
Affectionate feline live-in host. That sweet girl rarely left my side.
Firewood and other basic camping supplies provided.
Awesome host who is happy to share her little slice of wooded paradise with others.
Con: (only 1)
Horrid phone service for Spectrum mobile. I'm so thankful Pandora has a few offline stations. I'm looking into a cell phone booster for beautiful spots like this that are just on the brink of having service...
I will definitely return to W.H.Y
