Onalaska Farm Sanctuary
Beautiful place to camp and get to visit the animals! The cows walk up to the fence to say hello and that made our day. Sites are super spacious, beautiful, and well maintained. There are also several walking paths for you to enjoy.
Directions state to honk on arrival, if they can’t hear you just call the number provided on the check in!
P.S. they provide you with a waste disposable option for a reason. We found several beer cans that other campers had thrown on their walks. Lets keep this area beautiful and be respectful to hosts that are opening their home. We aren’t children, so let’s not act like it :)

A dream camping spot!
Absolutely gorgeous spot. Will definitely stay again! We weren’t sure we would see animals, but we saw a couple horses and a few cows too! 10/10.

Quiet, peaceful location!
We loved staying at Onalaska Farm. We stayed in the very first site right before the bathroom in our teardrop trailer. This site worked perfectly for us because we could just pull our vehicle and teardrop into it. For the other two sites, we probably would have needed to back it in. There are lovely walking trails throughout and Jessica was easy to connect with when we had questions!

Unforgettable Escape
What a perfect camping spot. Private, quiet space to sit back and enjoy nature. Plenty of space to walk and the animal tour was 10/10. Jessica is a wonderful host and made everything so easy. We will be back.

A true gem in a perfect location
Kyle is o wonderful host. Suoer welcoming and accommodating.
Not only taking us to our assignment 2 spots showing us where we can walk our dog, but also which fruit we can pick.
This camp is offering so much peaceful space.
The sites are well spaced out.
No light pollution, perfect for stargazing.
The area is well kept, inviting, and wonderful.
I highly recommend to see the farm with the rescue goats, cows and even a bunny, chicken and ducks.
A bummer are people who come and are disrespectful for what Jessica and Kyle created here and leave dog poop bags and even worse poop on a walkway leaving toilet paper and poop in plain sight. If you are not familiar with "boondocking" ask.

Boondocking by the Farm
Onalaska Farm Sanctuary was such a beautiful place! It's true boondocking behind their farm. We brought our van and Jessica led us to an open spot that we would spend the night. There were tons of blackberries and trees around, we walked around and explored the land. There were tons of different kinds of fruit on the property. In the morning, we got a tour around the farm. They had so many goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and cows! They even showed us part of their barn that's unfinished that some barn owls live in! It was such a neat experience.

It is heaven
Kyle and Jessica are wonderful hosts who created a wonderful sanctuary not only for animals in need, but campers looking for peace and remoteness.
The 3 camp sports are well dispersed that even when all 3 are booked there is ample space for privacy.
The sites are spotless and well located.
If you are lucky a cow swings by and says hi (well, behind a fence, so no worries :) )
The entire acreage is super well maintained and kept. Gorgeous, quiet, peaceful, and offers spectacular night skies.
Take a tour of the farm. Those goats are hilarious.
It is "boondogging" for now. They are planning to add port-a-potty and even picnic benches. I can't wait to return.
The anticipation of their trailer becoming a stay option ...
We saw the remodel and it looks absolutely darling.
To the past campers a note: please do NOT poop on the "road" - if you are not familiar with "dig your shit", just ask, if you leave your poop and your garbage you have missed the point of the outdoors.

Beautiful property and a nice clean, quiet, and private campsite. Stayed here after a day at Mt Rainier and headed to Mt St Helens in the morning- it's about an hour from each! Jessica was super responsive and friendly, definitely recommend this place!

Loved staying at Onalaska farm sanctuary. Jessica is such a lovely host & she shared a little history of their farm. The land is beautiful. It feels secluded even though you are not too far from Jessica’s house. Enjoyed a quiet evening with a full moon & slow morning enjoying the nature all around.

Jessica's was a perfect low key camp spot for the night before a Mount Saint Helens hiking day. She's so nice and was really responsive as I was making my way to her place. The flowers were beautiful!

Serene, pretty, very friendly hosts
This was our first Hipcamp anniversary experience. We came from a few days at an RV place and this was far more preferable. Hosts received us with flexibility (we were a little early) and clear guidance. After that, we only came upon rabbits and deer. The spots are just mowed areas around an old xmas tree farm. Very quiet and the wildflowers were still blooming.

Very peaceful camping spot. To a minimum you'll be +/- 185 ft away from the other campers. We went for July 4th weekend to avoid fireworks in Vancouver. My 9yo dog isn't a really petrified. Guess their neighbors and Lewis Co didn't get the memo and went all out on blowing everything but the kitchen sink. Would definitely go back any other weekend tho. So peaceful. Wild flowers galore, neighbor's cows came to check the dogs out (if you get the spot by the fence). You get really decent phone reception. Upload and download times are not so great but it helps unplug. The hosts are very responsive and super nice.

Hummingbirds and sunshine!
We had a great time staying at Jessica's spot! Very private, although we could hear neighbors at one point, mostly we heard birds. It was a solid primitive camp experience and Jessica was helpful and gracious. We will come back as we missed hearing the barn owls!

Quiet and peaceful
This was my first Hipcamp stay and it went well. With most public campgrounds booked months in advance I decided to give Hipcamp a try and it was great. I was shown my options of sites since I was the only person on the land that night. I selected my site and was able to set up my Rooftop tent on a nice level spot. I also brought my own pop up privacy tent with a portable toilet which worked out great. I had a peaceful night of sleep, woke up to birds chirping and enjoyed my morning coffee.

Great people and animals!
Jessica and Kyle are just wonderful! Nice private spot, a tour of the sanctuary in the morning with Jessica who is very knowledgeable about the animals and their often special health needs after being rescued from the meat and dairy industry. She also recommended some cool spots around WA to visit.
