Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. The 40+ year old trees and distance between the campsites provides space for you to bring and create your own vibes. Hosts should only approach you with safety or quiet hour concerns. They are available by phone 24 / 7 for any questions or requests you may have, and available by message 11am to 3am. Feel free to reach out any time. Our phone number can be found on Google.

Bighorn is a pull thru site. Room for two vehicles, one large tent, OR one vehicle, one large tent, and a cooking tent. Bighorn is directly across the road from Orca. The campground is tucked back in to the trees, past a retro manufactured home, old pickups, trailers, tractors, sheds in various states of repair, and an overgrown garden area with fruit trees reserved for wildlife. The property reminds us of one you'd find in Montana. A gem in King County. We are happy to share our little piece of paradise with the understanding we are always striving to do and provide better while maintaining day jobs at the family roofing business.

Grey Wolf was designed as a group site. Can comfortably accommodate two medium tents and two vehicles. Two vehicle, 5 person max tho the site is priced for 2 persons (max over winter is 2 persons). The campground is tucked back in to the trees, past a retro manufactured home, old pickups, trailers, tractors, sheds in various states of repair, and an overgrown garden area with fruit trees reserved for wildlife. The property reminds us of one you'd find in Montana. A gem in King County. Bluebird (renamed from Eagle's Nest) provides room for a medium tent and full-size vehicle. There is not much brush between Bluebird and Black Bear so you can see directly in to each other’s sites. Would be good sites to book together. Two person, 1 vehicle max. Please only park on gravel. The campground is tucked back in to the trees, past a retro manufactured home, old pickups, trailers, tractors, sheds in various states of repair, and an overgrown garden area with fruit trees reserved for wildlife. The property reminds us of one you'd find in Montana. A gem in King County. Great little spot. I felt very safe and appreciated a spotless portal potty and ability to use their trash cans. Spots are nice, each one has a metal ring for campfires and it looked like all of them had some sort of table to use. Cute little areas with a hammock and a neat wood platform with chairs. Marlee is super at communication Would definitely recommend staying here! A+

A gorgeous little forest with insanely tall trees that tower over you. I love this spot, especially for camping close to Seattle, and the one thing I’d note is it is next to a main road with cars going by at night— to know in advance!

i had a great stay at deans,orca campsite. Was quiet, cozy and well hidden in the tree’s and just minutes from the highway. deans gave me a cozy and safe spot to camp and leave my stuff while doing other activities in the area. i would absolutely recommend them to others and will definitely stay again next time i’m in the area.

We had a wonderful time camping here. Marlee was very helpful in accommodating our late check in. The location is a little confusing to get to but the directions provided helped a lot. Marlee was also available to help if we got lost but we were able to find it.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Beautiful camp ground, and the property managers are exceptionally kind and helpful. Trails through the woods, little nooks and crannies to explore with treasures left like hammocks and tables overlooking the valley. Very clean, very safe, very secret, and very affordable. On a scale of 1-10, easy 10. I highly recommend.

Nice private space in an unexpected area. We stayed in the Hummingbird spot which was fairly level. Bathroom was clean with a bin of necessities if needed. Very thoughtful! Trash cans were around and well maintained. Directions there were wonky and not quite right or understandable but we found our way. Overall good experience!

Beautiful campground, and a plus is getting to drive through a gorgeous neighborhood. The instructions were very clear. You do hear distant road noise but I don't mind that at all. There was only one other group there, but campsites seem a nice distance apart.

Marlee went out of her way to accommodate us, including changing our reserved site to one that would fit our vehicles, as well as adding an extra night when our plans changed. The directions she provided were precise and got us exactly where we needed to go. The toilets were very clean. All the camp sites are well marked and even at night, there were no difficulties finding our site. The camp area was as immaculate as you can get in a forest; there were even chairs set up around the campground overlooking various interesting spots (next time I think I will book Eagle’s Nest!). The campground was quiet and I really enjoyed the peace. If I’m in this area again, I will book a stay here. Two thumbs up, Marlee!

The site was clean and quiet and the bathrooms were incredibly clean and well stocked. Marlee was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend this camp.

My family and I LOVE camping here. It’s our go to when we just need a little time in nature but don’t want to travel to far. Cleanest porta potties I ever did see, and well stocked. Clean, quiet and close to home, but still feel like you’re out in the woods. Host is excellent, quick to respond to messages and so kind. Highly recommend!

Overall good experience. Once you learn the right way here it becomes easier. Booking consecutive dates waves check out and check in times which is a huge PLUS since events randomly pop up nearby super close to the race track and casino

“Issues”

We had my sister pick us up and drop us off due to an emergency. Marlee didn’t ask anything she just told us to add my sister and her vehicle to the booking. I let her know she was not camping here and she proceeded to call it “an issue” explaining that she was not covered by their insurance but it should not have been made an issue. It made me feel accused of intentionally doing so and unwelcome. I had told my sister about the site and she had planned to book a week later but after seeing those msgs she felt unwelcome. My only suggestion would be addressing things differently instead of making something out of nothing and calling it an issue. “Issues” are real problems not simple things that need to be addressed respectfully.
