This is a Back to Basics 'Glamping' experience but all the better for it. Spectacular views over Hells Mouth Bay are the highlight and compensate for any lack of amenities. Bell Tents are spacious and Logs are provided each day for the fire-pit. There is a Toilet and wash basin/sink (cold water only) for each pitch. The excellent farm-shop provides fruit and vegetables and excellent local meats. You can also buy teas/coffees and sandwiches and there is a vending machine for Fresh Milk/Milkshakes. An excellent base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula.

Bell tents and views
This was a truly wonderful place. Uninterrupted views for miles. A quiet and peaceful camping site with only 5 bell tents perfectly spaced apart. The onsite shop was fantastic and had everything you needed. I'm already looking at booking my next visit back.

Loved glamping in the bell tents for the first time with our 2 year old! Loads of space for little ones to around and amazing views! Lovely farm shop on site for supplies and bacon butties. Owners very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely recommend to friends and visit again soon.

Perfect farm stay with sea views
We had an amazing family trip. The children absolutely loved being on the farm and the views were incredible. The car shop had a great variety of food and the sandwiches were amazing. We would definitely recommend taking a trip here, it was just perfect.

We loved staying with Karen and the team at this amazing hillside glamping tent... a back to basics experience with the most delicious fresh food farm shop at the bottom of the hill. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Coed y Fron. The bell tents are well spaced out and the views are amazing! Being so close to Abersoch is also handy and a great base for exploring the area. We'd definitely recommend!

On arrival the bell tent was more than expected. There was fruit in a bag to welcome you. There was a fire pit with logs, kindling and firelighters provided. There was a shop on the farm which stocked everything you need the burgers were delicious. The hosts pointed out places of interest, the pub on the beach was a good idea.Hells mouth beach is worth a visit. The sky's at night were clear and we saw the moonlight dancing on the sea.The hosts were very welcoming and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was ideal and off the beaten track so it was quite and peaceful. We went off exploring the different beaches and historical places. We will definitely be returning summer 2022.

What a truly beautiful location, stunning views of Hells Mouth from your doorstep. Ideal spot to explore the peninsula, close enough to enjoy some of the local bustling villages but tucked out of the way to enjoy the tranquility too. Small site of six very spacious tents with really handy private sink and toilet. Everything was exceptionally clean. We made all our meals with produce from the amazing farm shop on site (The Farm Gate). We never felt the need to eat out. Everything was perfect! Thank you Karen & Gordon, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful place with sea view two directions. Spotlessly maintained and well managed. We stayed for five days and walked every day to the beach in Abersoch with our two kids (it took us about 45min). We really enjoyed the lovely farmshop which sells everything you need. The drive up to the tents is a bit steep and maybe difficult if wet.

Coed y fron is fantastic. We had a great time here. Location was lovely, quiet and quite a private experience with tents being so far apart. The views are absolutely amazing, and only 2 miles from abersoch. It was an hours drive to snowden but roads though beddgelert were fantastic and the views were to die for. A very special place. We will definately be returning. The only very small thing i could pick fault with was the add on coolbox really. It didnt come with ice packs so didnt really do a great job of keeping anything cool. we thought it would be a good idea to supply a cool pack with each box and swap them from a supply in the bottom of the freezer in the farm shop. That way you could swap for a fresh frozen pack every day. Just an idea. But all in all it was a fantastic place, and we would definately return. Thanks again

This year for my birthday we decided to stay at Coed Y Fron. From the outset the owners we were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, ensuring that we could arrive a little earlier than 3 pm. On arrival the bell tent was pristine as were the personal care facilities, namely a toilet and sink block. The views on the campsite are second to none with views over Hell’s Kitchen (great beach) and Abersoch. The location is excellent as it is only a few minutes drive to all the best beaches on the Llyn peninsula. The campsite shop is wonderfully stocked with a wide range of fruit and vegetables as well as meats and dairy produce. We had a very memorable stay as we camped next to a couple of lovely families with similar age children to ours who struck up some memorable holiday friendships. It did help that the weather was excellent! We will definitely stay here in the future as it was supremely relaxed and an excellent location.

I thoroughly enjoyed a family trip at coed y fron for 3 nights. The site was easy to find and had sea views without the winds. The site has a wonderful farm shop with fresh vegetables, fruits, milk, meats and even ice creams. Our canvas bell tent was plenty big enough and was a first for me, it felt really homely and has a wooden deck and fire pit. Inside the tent we received a welcome pack of fresh fruit and veg. The outdoor toilet and mains water were great and maintained regularly. The only downside I can think off is the steep gravel track up to the tents, we struggled to get up in the wet. However this track is being addressed by the landowners and should be altered very soon. On the whole the coed y fron campsite is a beautiful site run by friendly people in a stunning part of Wales, I highly recommend a visit if you're after a back to basics but enjoyable trip in a beautiful scenic part of Wales.
