Ffynnonwen is the perfect spot to reconnect with nature and nourish your soul. We're a quiet site with dark skies and campfires, so you can relax in peace and tranquillity whilst watching the butterflies or stargazing at night. We're a tiny camping and glamping site with just 5 camping pitches, a traditional Mongolian Yurt and 2 bell tents. Our pitches are all surrounded by flowering grasses and wild flowers and each have their own sunken fire pit. You can explore the winding paths where you might happen upon a hammock for an afternoon snooze or even some fairies (if you tiptoe!)... We have compost toilets, a shower with unlimited hot water and a shared fridge and freezer. The camping area is car free after set up. We're just a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Ceredigion beaches and some great walks along the Wales Coastal path. We can't wait to share our little corner of Wales with you!

Whether you're relaxing in the sunshine watching the butterflies, or toasting marshmallows on your campfire, at Ffynnonwen you can be sure to get away from it all :) Our peaceful camping pitches are well spread out and surrounded by wild grass and flowers giving a wonderful sense of privacy. And as we only have 5 pitches being used at any one time, it never gets crowded. For those who really want their own space, we also have a more secluded pitch set amongst the trees. With the camping field being a car and radio-free area, the only sounds you'll hear are the birds above, the breeze in the trees and maybe a sheep in the distance. And our dark skies also make it a perfect spot for star gazing. We have compost toilets, a hot shower, pot wash and a shared fridge and freezer. We're a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Ceredigion coast where there's an abundance of stunning beaches, great walks, paddle boarding and dolphin spotting.

Our Meadow bell tent is set amongst the wild grasses of our meadow, far away from any neighbours, allowing you to soak up the peace, unwind and reconnect. You can while away the day relaxing, listening to the hum of the bees and chirp of the crickets, whilst watching the red kites soar overhead... or you can explore the winding maze of paths in search of hidden treasure and enchantments... Then, after a day exploring, it's time to light the fire and toast marshmallows while the bats dance above your head. Songs, stories then snuggle up in a real bed dreaming of tomorrow's adventures...

Hidden amongst the apple trees, surrounded by wild grasses and flowers, stands our stunning Orchard bell tent. Completely secluded, the orchard offers a unique getaway where you can truly nourish your soul. The orchard is off the beaten track and fully enclosed with a discreet 5 foot fence making it the perfect spot for dogs (and small people!) to roam and explore off lead, allowing you to fully switch off and unwind. In the spring you can immerse yourself in the pink apple blossom, with bees busily buzzing from bow to bow... later in the summer the heady scent of sun warmed apples fills your senses from the rosy jewels hanging in the trees. In the evening, gather round the camp fire to cook and watch the hypnotic flames, finding constellations and maybe even a shooting star to make a wish on...

Traditional Mongolian Yurt

Our beautiful Mongolian Yurt is tucked away in a private spot amongst the ferns with only the neighbouring sheep for company. It has everything you need for your Welsh holiday - a double bed and 2 single occasional beds, a fully equipped kitchenette, dining table and chairs, large cool box and a log burner to keep you warm through the winter months. Outside is a private garden with picnic table and firepit and you have your own private compost toilet just next door.

Beautiful campsite - the meadow is full of birds, bats and wild flowers. So well looked after by Lindsey and co who are very welcoming and lovely the toilets, shower, washing up, fridge/freezer all great -everything you need Thank you xxx

We loved our stay at Ffynnonwen - a fantastic site, in a brilliant spot, just a few miles from the coast. A very peaceful small site, with excellent and clean provisions - we hope to return again in the future. Thanks to Lloyd and Lindsey for sharing their lovely paddock with us.

Had an amazing time in the Meadow Bell tent! Hosts were really friendly and everything was really well thought out. Plenty of space in the cosy tent and lovely little touches everywhere...would definitely book again!

What a weekend! We arrived in the rain but still enjoyed it all. The pitches are beautifully arranged with fire pits. Facilities were great, with hot water and great composting toilets. We had a wonderful time 🧡 Thank you Lindsay and Lloyd
