At our location, you'll enjoy easy access to Burgans Track for horse riding and bike riding adventures. We offer a horse arena (please note it's not fenced) for those with equine companions, and there are six horse yards available for your convenience. If you're a fishing enthusiast, you'll find the nearby river a perfect spot to cast your line and enjoy a relaxing day by the water. For a delightful culinary experience, there's a winery within walking distance, and they serve pizza on weekends, making it an ideal spot for a weekend treat. Should you need to visit town, Kinglake is just a 10-minute drive away, offering a hotel, pizza options, and charming cafes to explore. You can choose to camp by the river, making the most of the serene natural setting. Please remember that guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet and shower facilities, and it's essential to take all waste with you upon departure. Additionally, campfires are more than welcome in our designated fire pit, creating a cozy atmosphere for you and your fellow campers to enjoy. Pets are allowed on leash.

Rivers Run
We had a lovely weekend away staying at Rivers Run. Lovely quiet grassed area, with fire pit fully loaded and ready to go! Michelle was great with communication, and our dog had a lovely time with their beautiful and friendly dog. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet spot to get away.

Loved our stay at Rivers Run. Absolutely lovely hosts. Enjoyed being around their horses, chickens, ducks, hens, fowls, cat and doggies. Especially Morris the dog!! Our little doggy loved her stay also. We camped by the creek that borders the national park under the shady trees. Fun star gazing by the fire. The winery across the road on a Sunday for pizza and wine is a real treat. We camped on the 2nd site closer to the house, the other campers were far far away. We didn't mind being closer to our super friendly hosts though, still had a good amount of privacy. Lots of gorgous native birdies to watch. Thanks for having us !!

Had a great two nights at Rivers Run, really loved hearing the creek babbling away and playing with Morris the farm dog. Location is good, easy to get to some beautiful spots nearby and very close to Melbourne.

Just had an amazing weekend at Rivers Run. Michelle and Jake were excellent and attentive hosts. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature on converging streams and within striking distance of the townships of Yea and Kinglake. The campsite is well set up and we appreciated the firewood that was ready prepared. A major highlight was Morris the resident Catahoula leopard dog, whose visits were a big hit with us humans and our accompanying canines. We were sorry to say goodbye.

We had a relaxing 2n stay at Michelle’s farm. Our dog played with Morris, he was so gentle with her. Our hosts were lovely & very responsive with communication & we really appreciated the wood & kindling they provided for our camp fire. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Rivers Run. Michelle and her husband were so welcoming. We also enjoyed the visits from Morris their dog who was also a great host keeping us company. Peaceful and quiet location, lots of beautiful bird life.

Wonderful, tranquil spot! Surrounded by the sounds of birds and the stream. We were even lucky enough to be paid a visit by Morris the dog. Michelle and her husband were lovely hosts and have an amazing property. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!!
