Eden Pines Farm

We loved Eden Pines Farm, it was private with beautiful surrounds. Plenty of room for camping with friends including fury friends. Joel and his family were great and we would recommend it to anyone and can't wait to return.

The Owners are lovely!!! Camped up by the Damn! Awesome views and the kids loved waking up to seeing the sheep and kangaroos!! Owners let us walk around to see all the animals and were very accommodating! Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite. The grounds were clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Joel and Caity were incredibly accommodating, nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. Their warm hospitality made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great hosts!

We had an awesome time at Eden pines with some of our friends. Joel and his family are very friendly snd accomodating . Joel kept us in touch right until we arrive at the site . Sold us four dozen of the freshest eggs and it was the best . Highly recommended 👍

The spot was very nice indeed. Joel and family were very hospitable. We all felt very welcome, dogs included. As mentioned by others there is road noise, which we got over pretty quickly. The grassy flats site does have limited levelish areas, so if you’re in a caravan, be prepared. Nice and close to Seymour and Joel will hand you some local attractions flyers which helped when we ventured out. You will also be greeted in the morning by the local kangaroos and sung to by the black cockatoos flying over.

I highly recommend booking your camp trip here, Joel is a lovely host and has set up some great locations to camp at his farm. Nice and private and peaceful.

The gate entrances × 3 could be challenging for some people. The sites are on a fairly large gradient on a hill. Lots of noise from the freeway and trains. The hosts where lovely and the views are fantastic. Our dog loved the space and swimming in the dam.

Site 2 - Amongst the trees

Site 4 - North Hill

We had a lovely relaxing time at Joel's property. You can hear the Hume and Railway. But it doesn't detract from the lovely views and we had a great time relaxing and exploring their property. There were other campers, but we were all far enough apart that it didn't affect us. Our dogs had a great time as well.

Easy to find, and Joel the owner was a great help for directions and places to go in the area. 2 other camp sites are in the area but lots of distance so no one is camping on top of one another. Views were incredible, loads of wildlife! Definitely worth the walk up the hill in the morning to watch the sunrise.

Beautiful farm. Hosts lovely and very obliging. Greetings on arrival - introducing the farm animals (bring carrots for the horse - he will love you!). Dry fields at this time of year but to be expected. We loved it and will definitely be back. Feeling relaxed from the long weekend.

Fantastic camp so close to Melbourne. The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome on their property. The sites are spaced far apart with trees between so you can barely see anyone and there is lots of room to move a big van around the property. The kids and dog loved the dam and fishing for yabbies. Thanks for a great stay!

Had a wonderful week away at Eden Pines Farm. Joel and his wife were lovely, helpful and also sold some yummy fresh eggs. Kangaroos were a delight to watch, and it was only a short drive to the local pool which offered free entry. Highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Eden Pines Farmstay! The property is quiet, secluded, and offers the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The serene surroundings made it so easy to unwind, and the peaceful atmosphere was just what we needed. The hosts were incredible – so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond to make our stay special, even surprising us with some homemade rocky road, which was absolutely delicious. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Eden Pines Farmstay is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway just outside of the city.

Joel and Jenny were absolutely incredible hosts - very helpful and made sure that we had a good time at their beautiful farm. Unfortunately the weather was too hot so our trip had to be cut short, otherwise we had a lovely time there and would definitely go back on a cooler weekend!

Sunsets and Kangaroos

We had the best time camping at Eden Pines. Katie and Joel are two of the most genuinely kind people we have met in a long time. They greeted us at check in and made us feel right at home while also allowing us the privacy and freedom of their property for the weekend. The property itself is beautiful, with a cute little dam that our dog loved escaping to for swims, and a friendly horse named Bowie who enjoyed being fed a carrot or two. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and incredible kangaroo shows at dawn from our camp. The close proximity to Melbourne makes it awesome for a quick getaway. It’s also conveniently located close to Seymour so you can easily pop out for groceries/meals if you want to explore the area.

Site 4 - North Hill

This is a very nice property and Joel was an excellent host. Although scenic, the hill location is a bit too hilly to find a flat spot for a tent. Also, the freight train/highway noise is very loud (even though Joel makes this clear, it's still something that would turn me off coming back. Other than that, it's a nice location. The fire pit is fantastic!

We would highly recommend a stay at Eden Pines, we loved the freedom of exploring the property and having the dogs exploring with us. Joel is an exceptional host and the property and surrounds are stunning. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay.

This was my 3rd time camping at Eden Pines with my dog. I love the spot, it’s easy to get to from Melbourne and the hosts are so welcoming and helpful. It’s a good base to explore the surrounding area. It’s also a peaceful spot just to chill out and relax. I will definitely be coming back again.

We have just had the most peaceful weekend at Joel and Katie’s beautiful part of the world near Tallarook. The campsite was immaculate, so lush and green, great 360 degree views to spot all the wildlife. We loved the kangaroo show every night, we’ve never seen so many! Communication was very efficient from the start and mother in-law Jenny met us on arrival, a really lovely family. Our pooch was in heaven on our walks around the property! Such a great base if you’re a food/wine lover– we explored Tallarook, Seymour and Mitchelton Winery. We will definitely come again, even if it’s just a 1 night stop-over on our way back from Melbourne (only 1 hour, 10 mins) away.
