VRDNT Farm is a technology-forward small farm growing flavorful and colorful vegetables for Central Texans. We focus on bio-intensive growing practices and are striving to optimize on-farm efficiency.
"Bio-intensive" means our farm system is driven by biological processes rather than chemical inputs. We focus on preventing pests and diseases by cultivating a healthy ecosystem. All fertilizers and sprays that are used are Organic, OMRI certified products.
Learn more about this land:
VRDNT Farm is a female owned and operated small farm growing flavorful and colorful vegetables. Tucked away in the Lost Pines of Bastrop, we focus on bio-intensive growing practices and are passionate about regenerative agriculture. The property is 11 acres total but only 3.5 acres are cropped in vegetables and the rest of the property is left as wild woodland.
This site has a picnic table, fire ring, hammock, and three established tent pads.
This campsite is directly adjacent to the fields. All three tent pads are privately tucked in the woods, but the picnic table, hammock, and fire ring are visible from the fields. Please be aware this is a working farm and we are outside working from 8am-5 pm Monday-Saturday
We have a friendly farm dog, Blue who roams the property. He will likely come say hello to you at you camp site. Because of this, we request that you do not bring any pets.
You are welcome to gather firewood from the surrounding woods. But depending on the weather (if it has just rained) you may want to bring fresh wood and kindling. There are several places to get firewood on highway 20 on you way to the farm.
