Our family friendly RV resorts feature free cable & Wi-Fi, a community rooms/business centers, as well as new laundry facilities, showers, and a fitness centers. We are pet friendly and some have a dog washing stations, too! Our all concrete pads and wide driveways can accommodate pull-throughs and big rigs, and we have 30/50 hookups to power your stay. We have tables, lounge chairs, and umbrellas so you and your family can relax around the pool and some locations with lakes. Relax and take in the beautiful views of our private, quiet RV park properties. We have covered picnic tables, and barbeque grills throughout the park for you and your family. Shower, bathrooms and laundry facilities on site for your convenience. Our exercise room features a nice view overlooking the lake, and is fully equipped with free weights, a treadmill, elliptical and weight bench. Many of our locations have a full kitchen for you to use with brand new appliances: stove, refrigerator and microwave. Nature Lover’s Paradise near us! Only a 15 minute drive away, Seabrook is a bird sanctuary on one of the largest migratory paths in North America. With a diverse habitat of both fresh and salt marsh, bay shoreline, riparian and upland woodlands, 291 species of birds have been identified. The site and facilities were well maintained; considering we were not flat towing on this journey, we loved the close proximity of community amenities. The campsite itself is in an easy-to-find location and located relatively close to major highways for easy exit. Thank you for a wonderful experience. The Calhoun's

Site 5 - Big Spot RV Resort
The site was good. Large sites, secure, good amenities. Electric hook up on reserved site did not work but as there were unoccupied sites on either side i used those. Host was not responsive to messages, one to potential early check in and another to the electrical issue. Public restrooms were well used without servicing over the weekend. Issues with 3 of the 4 by Monday morning.

The “Host” was a ghost !!! No response via text or email , gps coordinates were wrong!!! I ended up in a school yard 20 miles from the actual location, had to google the name of the “resort”. Showed up late in the evening and my site was occupied already! I set up in an adjacent pad and hoped I didn’t get asked to move! Bummer

Dickinson Campground

This is a review of the campground in Dickinson, Texas. There was much confusion regarding our reservation as the info on the site showed Dickinson and when one clicked the site, it took one to the San Leon campground. When booking our slot, the information we received said we were reserved for an address in Dickinson but when we received information from the manager, it said San Leon. Fortunately, it was straightened out somehow. The campground in Dickinson is tucked away in a quiet street and seems to be well-maintained. The are some trees, a lake/pond (appears to be a retention pond) and ample parking space. It was quiet and appeared to have some long term rentals as well as overnighted. The showers, gym, pool area and other areas were all clean, tidy and nice. The campground is gated and a code is required to enter.

Big Spot RV Resort
Big Spot is a clean RV site with many amenities. We loved having a good shower and using the laundry facilities! There’s also a great-looking pool and a wharf to Galveston Bay that we didn’t get to enjoy. Sam, the manager, was super helpful, she even saved us from a laundry disaster. Would recommend to Hipcampers looking for an accommodating and easy stay.
