1 - Huge family size pitch (optional EHU)
Perfect campsite
Such a beautiful campsite and very well maintained. The facilities area is spotless and often see the site owners cleaning and mopping or just pottering about. Such a nice and peaceful campsite.

Quiet and friendly campsite
Well organised and well looked after site. Jane and Ray are friendly hosts and are great at anticipating campers’ needs. We were on pitch 7 which was sheltered from the westerly wind and sunny in the morning. The pitches have nice landscaping and feel very private. The info folder has lots of suggestions for walks in the area - we went to Portobello beach, Broadsea Beach ad walked through the Lochnaw estate.

3 - Campervan pitch with (optional EHU)
Rhinns camping
We took our camper van to North Rhinns and it was such a lovely place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and the facilities were clean. The guide book there was really informative and led us to some lovey days out. We had electric hook up and a fire pit, both reasonably priced. We would definitely visit again!

perfect peace
Exceptional camp site. the pitches are very well maintained. They are separated by lovely woodland, filled with wild flowers, and you feel as if you are wild camping!...with the bonus of a clean facilities block. There's disabled access to shower and toilet. Dish washing sinks under cover with instant hot water. there's even an electric kettle and some mugs provided for emergencies. The views and walks around the site are stunning. On one walk we saw wild deer, a fox, rabbits and a Hare. Also evidence of owls, didn't see one but we did see bats! lots of song birds too. Highly recommend this lovely little site for a peaceful break away from everything.

Small tent pitch
This was the perfect campsite for us. We had a secluded pitch with views over pasture fields and Ireland in the distance. The amenities were spotless with a super washing up area. Ray and Jane could not have been more welcoming and helpful with lots of tips for places to visit. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for a great visit.

Campervan pitch with (optional EHU)
We loved this small, quiet campsite. Clean facilities, good recycling (no rubbish piling up anywhere) and friendly unobtrusive owners. Each pitch was lovely and far away from each other for privacy. The local store in Leswalt is well stocked for supplies. We would come again.
Nearby attractions
There is a well-stocked and licensed village shop two miles in Leswalt that gives cashback. The local sea fishing is fantastic – visit The Sports Shop (01776 702705). There is a sandy beach 2 miles away (walk there) and other secluded beaches can be reached by car, as well as some on foot. The holiday town of Portpatrick is 10 miles away. The Southern Upland Way (01835 824000) is five miles away and particularly good walks can be found at the RSPB reserve at Mull of Galloway along with a Lighthouse there. The North Rhinns Coast path is now agreed and parts are under construction and accessible. A favourite section is between Killingtrangin lighthouse and Portpatrick. There is also an interesting route to take in to discover all the gardens of Galloway with a nearby favourite being the grounds of Castle Kennedy, well worth a visit.
Food and drink
The hotel in the lighthouse (01776 853220) at Corsewell Point, nine miles from the site, does fine food and does yummy tea and scones, too. The Crown (01776 810261), The Harbour House (01776 810456), Mount Stewart Hotel (01776 810291)  and Campbell's resturant (01776 810314) are amongst others at Portpatrick, with live music at The Crown on Fridays and Saturday nights. If you're looking for something a little more on the hoof then try the fish and chip van in Portpatrick harbour (high season only).
