Navajo – Enchanted Forest Campsite
We had a great time at Hilltop Tree Farm! Blake made sure we had everything we needed, and we had a fun exploring the camping area and the surrounding town. Seeing the bees was a huge plus, and we would love to stay again when we're in the area!

Perfectly simple and easy
Sakonnet River Getaway At Hilltop
This was a great home base for exploring the area! We stayed just a night and found there was everything we needed on site-including bug spray. Site felt private and tucked away, while still accessible to Newport and other towns, trails, beaches. We noticed one of the other tents was close enough that it would be fun to book out multiple tents on a group trip!

This is a special place in a wonderful area. Comfortable and spacious platform tent with a bed, a fire pit, and a camp toilet. FYI no running water or electricity. The hosts communicated promptly and clearly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Sakonnet River Getaway At Hilltop
Overall the campsite was enjoyable. We grilled dinner over the firepit, which was nice and the camp loo and camp showers provided were also a nice touch. Beware though that the tent at this site is not effective at keeping out the rain. It rained our first night there and water began coming in from the sides and through the roof within 5 minutes. Large parts of the bed were wet the whole night, making it difficult to sleep. I would suggest other accommodations if you are coming when there’s weather.

One Night on the Sakonnet

Sakonnet River Getaway At Hilltop
Close to the Sakonnet River, this campsite is a beautiful spot to unplug and relax. The parking area is close to the sites and my kids enjoyed using the wagon to transport our belongings to the tent. We (my 13, 10, and 7 year olds, and I) squeezed into the bed with our sleeping bags and while it was a tight fit made it work for the night. We loved having a picnic table for meals and the fire pit with rotating grate made cooking our hot dogs super simple. The porta-loo was a nice feature too!
