Ranch Lambergar is located at the heart of Slovenia, about 1 hour drive from the capital city Ljubljana. We offer camping spots in a peaceful natural setting. Coordinates: 45.98766116829174, 14.934155064616036 Google Maps: Društvo Raznolikost Ranch Lambergar spans 16,5 ha (407 acres) of meadow and forest on a warm South slope of a hill. There are no neighbors, just lots of nature. At the entrance to our ranch is a big parking area on the grass. From there you can go explore the ranch to find your perfect spot. Our camping spots are best suited to camping in tents, but some areas are accessible by vehicles too. These are on the large flat area above the farmhouse, by the riding enclosure and in dry weather also on the lower meadow and in the forest around the Cowboy house. Running water and electricity can be provided within 100 m of the farmhouse and Cowboy house. If you’re camping with just a tent, feel free to camp anywhere you want, there's lots of nice places to choose from. Maybe you'll find your spot by the pond, maybe on one of the meadows, maybe even in the forest. Some areas have a wonderful view over the rolling hills all the way to Croatia. Our ranch is dedicated to tourism, education and nature preservation. We operate a small carnivorous plant nursery. We grow and preserve our own food for ourselves and our guests. We have a good size collection of heirloom varieties of fruit trees and vegetables. We have an ARK Centre certificate for keeping rare Slovenian domestic animal breeds and educating the public about them. We also have horses, ponies, donkeys and other animals. Our ranch offers relaxation, not entertainment. There’s no bars or swimming pools. But do let us know if you wish a tour of the ranch, to learn about plants, animals, foraging, or carnivorous plants. We can also arrange a DIY, crafting or gardening workshop for adults or kids. We welcome people to walk on the grass, explore the forest, drink from the natural springs, enjoy the peace and quiet, listen to the birdsong, bask in the sun and the gaze at the stars. We value our guests have privacy, so the number of guests staying at one time is limited. We also ask guests to pick spots well away from each other. There is a supply of various items and tools our guests may require, so please ask, if what you need is not listed here. We will also gladly advise you regarding activities, shops and sites in the surrounding area. Dogs and any other pets are welcome, but please mind the other guests and animals, keep your pets under control. For horseback tourers – yes we offer stabling. Families with children especially welcome. If you’ll plan a daytrip or need any shopping tips or help with anything, we’ll gladly get you in touch with the right person or give ideas about sites to visit.Pitch your tent anywhere you want: maybe by the small lake, in the forrest, by some fruit trees or in the middle of the meadow. Privacy guareanteed! There's a few spots with an amaizing view over the rolling hills. If you're a horse person, you can even camp on our 5 acre horse pasture. Parking is in a designated area, afterward you go search for your spot and tell us if you require breakfast or any food, water, facilities etc. We allow camp fires in some spots and can lend you cooking utensils.
