Yeti's Tree House
This treehouse was so fun for our weekend family trip! It’s a bit of a walk to get there, but such a cute setup. So nice to have a toilet, sink and shower with warm water!
The host and co-host were so helpful and even helped get my favorite hat back after I left it on checkout day 🤦♀️

The boarded walkway to the house is very slick and un-level, some of the boards even seemed rotten. The space inside is extremely small without an area to really just relax and the stairs into the loft were not the easiest to use. We left a day early and found a different place to stay,

What a fun/adventurous stay. This place was more than a treehouse. It had everything you needed for a quick rest during traveling or an over night with kids. It’s a magical foresty oasis. The kids loved the zip line, netted hammock and a little tv to wind down. The outdoor giant bathtub looked super fun but time didn’t allow for it. Comfortable, spacious, full bathroom, toaster oven, microwave and everything you need for a restful and enjoyable stay. It’s a must to stay here just to walk down the ramps in a jungle setting that lead up to this hidden gem.

Yeti's Tree House
The treehouse is a cute place. Sweet, snug, pretty adorable. The highlight definitely was the zip line for my kids - they also loved the hammock flooring inside (grown ups not so much). It’s convenient to get to areas in Portland but takes driving and is tucked in a neighborhood close to Hwy 26. Hoyt’s Arboretum is close by and beautiful, and we wouldn’t have known to explore it otherwise. Lovely trees around and you wake to the sound of birds.
However, the listing says it sleeps 6 but only mentions a queen bed - so I asked before we arrived. I was told by the host that there was a double bed on the first floor and a king bed on the second floor. But, when we arrived we found a queen bed, a small stiff fold down couch and a folded mat that was maybe intended to be laid out in the kitchen area downstairs? There was no space to unfold it in the sleeping area.
There are also a lot of fees on top of the base price, and we were charged for an extra person having 4. So just be aware of added fees.
And last as the host warns, it’s a bit of a haul to get down the boardwalk through the woods - we were grateful we had packed everything in backpacks so we could carry our supplies in.

Perfect winter treehouse! We were so impressed with this place - super charming and well thought out and nice and warm. The hammock in the loft was cozy and we slept great in the queen bed. The zip line was fun too. It was very clean and tidy as well and quiet for being in the middle of a neighborhood (it’s quite tucked back - you feel like you’re far from everything).
When they say the trail in is slippery when wet, believe them and take it slow. I’d recommend a headlamp if you arrive after dark like we did - There’s plenty of motion lights on the trail but that made me feel a little more sure footed going in carrying stuff.

The treehouse is in the middle of a neighborhood. You can hear traffic in the tree fort. The hammock/net needs to be repaired, there are holes and it seems unsteady. If you are looking to “get away from the city” this isn’t the place. Path to fort is very slippery. Could use more grip tape, I wore hiking boots and still lost my balance.

My Granddaughter and I enjoyed this tree house experience complete with zip line, second floor net bed, and retro turquoise kitchen. It was a hootful of fun!!!!

We had such a great time! The treehouse is so cute and cozy. Kids loved lying on the net in the loft and using the zip line. The soaking tub on the deck was my favorite! Our dogs got to join us too and they loved it as well! We will go back again for sure!

I had a wonderful stay at the treehouse. The giant hammock was great for lounging and watching movies. The zipline was well loved as well. the trail from the parking area was a bit tiring with all our gear. If you are traveling with someone with mobility issues, this place may be challenging to navigate, especially the stairs to the loft. Otherwise, it was gorgeous, fun, clean, and relaxing. It is nestled right in a neighborhood in Portland. There are lots of beautiful trees surrounding it.

The inside of the treehouse was very nice. No complaints.
The walkway needs some anti-skid material as it is very slick when wet.
Don’t advertise the hot tub. That was the biggest disappointment. This was not a hot tub, but a horse trough the visitor had to make into something that may loosely resemble a soak tub…maybe.

Wonderfully refreshing! Surprisingly secluded given the neighborhood. Well done. Took us a minute to figure out the washing machine when the linens weren't ready when we arrived, but host was great in responding to help us out. The kids loved the hammock and the movies there were great.

It's secluded in the woods. There is a freeway next door so road noise is there. Super love the hammock, and design of loft in general. Amazing how many people could fit.
If you are a bigger group, kitchen is small. A few coffee amenities and spices but nothing else. Dishes and a pot and pan. The two burner built in stove top is great for cooking or hearing water for tea.
The soaking tub is super hot when first filled and lovely to sit in looking at the trees. Zip line is fun.
The atmosphere and thoughtfulness of the place is really just perfect for a night away and this is so close to the city.
If you want off the beaten path, this isn't really that, but to have a hideaway in the city is really cool.
Oh and a washer dryer too. The small tree house has all you need tucked into a well planned space. Will visit again!!
