The airstream was very cozy and exactly what I needed for a quick trip to Portland. The outdoor space was so peaceful and the perfect spot to do some work. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy getaway.

Such a wonderful stay! Margaux was impeccably clean and so accommodating for me and the pups. The setting is absolutely gorgeous. And the hosts Kayla and her partner were kind and so accommodating through my own little bit of confusion. Highly recommend!

We had a great experienceat at Kayla's land even when it's cold (20F outside). Super cute airstream with everything you need, cozy with a nice yard. Fireplace and hot tube are the big pluses!
The host had been responsive for the entire trip. I'm very impressed by how comprehensive the digital guide is.

Kayla was super kind and communicative! It's a cute, relatively private space (especially for a city spot.) Parking was easy to find near the driveway. The area has lots of great spots to explore within walking distance including a great Boba and game shop.
The airstream was well decorated and equipped with essentials, but it was a bit smaller than I expected, often bumping my head and squeezing by. Also, I would not plan on using the shower. The hot water wasn't working (which Kayla was super great at communicating about and accommodating). But even if it were, I wouldn't have showered, because it would have gotten the toilet, sink and surrounding area super wet, and it was hard to keep dry as is.
Still a great option for a cheap, private stay in the city. Would definitely consider booking again.

We stayed for one overnight as a little getaway. We appreciated all the effort that has gone into getting guests oriented to the space (although a few things were a bit out of date - no need to turn the propane heaters on outside to get hot water now!) It’s a cute, quite compact airstream that felt a bit like staying in a vintage themed spaceship :)

I highly recommend; I’ve stayed in multiple b&bs + camping locations in Portland, and this has by far been the best. This hipcamp is everything — it’s beyond cute, it’s in a good location, it has all the major amenities, and has the warmest host. We felt so safe here and so creative. The size was perfect for two people and one tiny dog, and it’s obvious that a great deal of care has been integrated into every detail of this airstream.

This is such a fun place for urban glamping! The Airstream is so cute and cozy, and decorated with a very retro vibe. The yard feels private and the area is pretty quiet, so it's a great place to get away right in town. I definitely recommend staying here!

My girlfriend and I had a great time staying at Kayla’s. We just spent one night there but could have easily stayed longer. The airstream was very cozy but at 6’3 I could still stand up fully inside. Would recommend.

I was having a very tough week, in the Portland area for work. Convinced myself to spend a little money on myself and take a couple much needed days to just exist. From the moment I walked down the drive and saw margaux’s string lights my heart warmed and I felt like I was arriving safely home. Which as a nomad, is not something I say a lot. The photos and amenities were on point, the hot water piping to take a lil camp shower to warm your bones or the hot tub, and it was close to anything you might need, even walking distance. Kayla and the whole fam were kind and easy to chat with, but there was plenty of quiet time. If you’re an animal lover, the pups and even kitty were really part of the lovely experience of being out in the cute backyard as well. A lot of love has gone into Margaux and you can feel it! I plan to return again soon. Gratitude to Kayla for creating such a lovely space and sharing it!

We loved our stay in Kayla and Jackie’s airstream! First, the yard and plantings were so welcoming and lovely for an evening sit on the porch attached to the airstream.
They really thought of everything, as it even had a small commissary and a great little assortment of games. Be advised it’s a small space and it’s vintage with lots of character. It’s exactly what you’d envision the stay to be like for that era. Perfect for 1 or 2 people.
Our hosts were also very helpful giving us recommendations of great places to eat in the area. Thank you both!

We have stayed in various airstreams and this was by far the smallest.
Pros: lovely backyard that the dog thoroughly enjoyed: air conditioning worked well, and doubled as white noise; parking was a breeze.
Cons: acceptable size for one person, barely adequate for two (and very challenging for two larger individuals); no bathroom door—only a curtain; lack of storage for luggage, so we ended up leaving some in the car; when the bed is out & made there’s only about 10” between the bed & the kitchen, so you have to shimmy to get to the bathroom
Adequate for one night, in a pinch.

I loved the aesthetic quality of this place. The airstream itself is adorable, has lots of charm and is beautifully decorated. Once moving about the inside of the airstream, I was quite aware of my 163 lb body, as I felt the vessel move every time I walked from one end to the other. I am unsure if this is simply due to the structure itself, or if the airstream could use some stabilization. When I arrived I tired after a day hiking and ready for a nap, but as this is located in the backyard of a family neighborhood, I heard the sound of a child crying in one of the backyards nearby. I only mention this to note that, this is not a place to go for minimal surrounding noise. As mentioned in the guidebook, this is considered glamping, so be sure that you are okay with that. This is not the place to catch up on sleep. It is an active neighborhood where families are living and lawnmowers in the morning can be heard. If you are just looking for a cute place to sleep for one night for a good price it gets the job done. The commissary was quite nice. I purchased a bottle of red wine to help me wine-d down.

Margaux the Vintage Airstream was truly a magical stay. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, central to so many good eats, drinks, and just across from a large grass area perfect for pups!
We stayed two night during a rainy and cold week and were nice and cozy inside the airstream. Kayla had everything cleaned and setup so beautifully. The airstream is a dream itself but the backyard spaces adds another layer of cuteness and comfort.
10/10 would stay again!

Margaux was awesome! It was rainy and windy and perfectly cozy, snuggled under the velvet comforter and reading my new book. Kayla has provided really affordable adult beverage options and pre-rolls for purchase. Even dog treats if you bring your furry friend. It was just a perfect little spot for an overnight.

Staying in Margaux was truly a vibe and a half. The location couldn’t be more perfect for those looking to be close to the city life. Just walking distance from the trailer there’s lots of coffee shops, parks, and stores nearby. However, kicking it in the trailer was real nice and cozy too with all the amenities you could ask for ! (electricity, sink, shower and also a hot tub) Staying there in the winter I was a little worried about being too cold but there was even a heater and lots of blankets to make it nice and toasty inside ! The new renovations give the comfort of a modern home but with a fun aesthetic / retro feel of a vintage airstream. If you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable and UNIQUE stay for your visit to Portland then look no further. Kayla puts a lot of love into the camper experience for guests and it really shows (:

Totally retro and 100% adorable, this little trailer was super cozy, and I loved listening to the sound of the rain. The backyard nook was a cute set up, complete with a hot tub. Very affordable. Easy to operate. Close to local coffee shops, restaurants and downtown! They also have an excellent record selection.
