It was a real pleasure chatting with Bob and hearing a bit about his operation. The camping spot that he led me to was quiet, private, secluded, and exactly what I was hoping for. If you are in the area I highly recommend staying here.

SLEEP WITH FISH AQUACULTURE FARM
Our new favorite!
What an awesome place! Robert was a generous host, placing my son and I right at the shore of the fishing pond. We had brought our own wood, but Robert was sure to offer us wood if we needed it for free. He was also kind enough to explain his aquafarm to my ever curious kid.
If you want total seclusion Calalas is the place to find it. We had the entire land to ourselves and spent our time exploring, fishing, and spending some much needed time together! We saw lots of wildlife, we woke up to a deer on the other side of the lake from our site, lots of waterfowl, and had a nice conversation with a pair of Barred Owls on our first night! We loved hanging out with the frogs that hopped around our site (who ended up with names Hoppy, bouncer, and Springy) My son fell in love with Roberts 2 black labs and he found any excuse to take the 10 minute walk up to see them. When we left, the kiddo said that he had a new favorite place to go camping and still mentions going back! We will for sure be heading back next season or possibily earlier if we get a warm weekend!

Our group had a blast. This spot is Quiet and private. It’s a perfect primative spot for people looking to get away from the city for a while. Great fishing, and there is a good amount of property to take a nice walk with nature.

SLEEP WITH FISH AQUACULTURE FARM
We had a great time at this site. The hosts were friendly and kind and made us feel welcome. The campsite was secluded and nestled among trees and ponds. We had no issue getting in and out with our campervan, enjoyed hiking around the property, and saw (and heard) lots of wildlife.

Beautiful secluded primitive quiet site! Hosted by an awesome couple who took the time to drive us around their property to help us pick a site that would work for us! And then brought the brush hog back to make our site a little bigger for us!
If you love to hear birds singing and bullfrogs this is the spot! Seriously a private area! Big beautiful trees so plenty of shade! The stars at night are gorgeous!
I can’t stress enough how quiet and peaceful!
