DISCOUNT FALL/WINTER RATES! A picturesque riverside camping location with an 8ft deep swimming area and downstream pebble beach for sunning in the afternoon. Enchanting seasonal wetland filled with black willow trees to explore and a stone ridge that overlooks the a meadow and tree lined river. Long gravel drive with a turnaround for parking and a small cabin that is undergoing renovations. A 400ft trail winds from the cabin to the river where visitors will find a roofed shelter with table & benches, a steel fire pit, cooking tripod & grill, and grill utensils.Your party has access to the full property - we do not book multiple groups simultaneously! The entire riverfront is at your disposal (approximately 500ft). We mow a large area where the cabin trail meets the river, which accommodates four 2-person tents. There is also plenty of additional camping space along the river if any of your group prefers greater privacy! More direct sunlight can be enjoyed downstream or near the cabin, where you are also free to spend time.

Great adventure at Swimming Hole

We had a great time at the swimming hole- the host Carlos answered all of our questions and the location was so cool. We took two 8 year old boys and they were in heaven fishing and playing in the creek. We are already aiming on bringing them back in the spring. Nice and flat terrain for our tent and picnic table was clutch. Definitely would recommend.

Wow, what an amazing stay! Carlos was such a friendly and helpful host, and his directions made getting there super easy. The campsite was beautifully set up and had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The creek was wonderful and we loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings. You can really tell how much care has gone into this place. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was right by the river, with a covered pick nick table, plenty of free firewood, a place to fish or swim. There were a number of spots to pitch a tent with out roots, nice even ground. A place to cook was also a nice touch.

Great little piece of land. It had lots of little things other places don’t have, like hammocks and floats for the creek. Access to the swimming hole and pebble beach are down some pretty steep embankments, but there are ropes there to pull yourself up, if you’re so inclined. The shelter over the picnic bench was nice too, though rain wasn’t a factor for me. I didn’t time it, but it’s about a 60-90 second walk from the parking area to the campsite. Carlos has a cart there for hauling your stuff to the site. Instead of making 4 trips carrying things, I made it in just one trip with the cart. Wanting peace and quiet on my solo trip, I was a little concerned about road noise due to the proximity to the road. It ended up being a non-issue for me, as the road was sparsely traveled during the day, and almost no overnight traffic (that I noticed!).

Seasoned tent camper here! This is one of the most magical campsites we’ve ever stayed at, the nature, the water, the land, it was all amazing. Hammocks, fire pits, wood, axes and a wagon were there and we used all of it which was so helpful. We swam, fished & explored! We even booked an extra day and are counting down the days until we come again. A million perfect recommend!

Had a great time at this camp spot! We took our kids and they had a blast playing in the water. It did rain some while we were there so the pavilion was great for our kids to stay under until it stopped. We will be booking this site again!
