I went Fourth of July weekend & it was crazy busy yet they still managed to get me a camping spot last minute. When I pulled up at 9pm they were still able to check me in and tell me where to set up camp. At 10 o’clock everyone went quiet which was nice!

Such a great little spot! Loved all the tall pines and to hosts are wonderfully lovely. Next time I’ll have to bring an ATV to ride the trails in the area!

We truly appreciated our stay at the campground. The spaciousness was delightful, and being right next to the river made it a wonderful experience. Everything was nearly perfect! The only downside for us was the lack of cellular connection, which made it a bit challenging. However, aside from that, the peacefulness and cleanliness of the place really added to our enjoyment.

Best. Campsite. Friends. EVER!

We searched for the perfect campsite so that we could try out our new roof top tent, but also to wind down and let the kids play in the creek. Trout Creek did not disappoint! The most friendly staff, now friends, anyone could ask for! Super clean, bath house with shower, easy to maneuver into the site, live music the night we went! There is a small playground that our kids played on for hours! I wish we had a chance to stay the whole season! We will be back as soon as we can, and stay as long as we can!

Secluded mountainous haven!

This place is so beautiful. One of the most beautiful, well manicured, enjoyable places I've stayed at. The creek, the trees, the spots, the drive up? Beautiful! Their Memorial Day celebration was lovely. They were accommodating and genuine. There is zero cell service up there. TMobile stops 20 minutes both ways up the mountain. Their Wifi was not functional during my 7 day stay, which was difficult because I was hoping to get some work done. I ended up driving to the little towns for internet. The road up there is gorgeous, but it is narrow and sided by a steep drop off into the creek. You need to be comfortable with your rig. Do not arrive after dark, its infinitely harder to navigate. There is a pipe with a 14'11" clearance on the way up. All of the women running the place were extremely helpful and kind. I extended my stay twice! Bathrooms were clean and functional. Zero issues with the full hookups. I will absolutely be returning to this place regularly on my travels. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

Great spot! Quaint little creek with plenty of trout. (Fish above or below the campground). They brought in a live band for Memorial Day. Hosts were kind and accommodating. We will be back.

Nice little campground in a holler. The only problem is there’s no tent spots by the stream, only rv spots. Would come back and get an RV spot.

Pick Trout Creek!

Loved our stay at Trout creek! Listening to the water splash over the rocks was so relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered. The bath house was sparkling clean and tidy. The staff were so very helpful! I can’t say enough about how great this experience was for us newbie RV’ers. Of course, the other campers were also amazing, kind and so very supportive. Thank you Trout Creek!!!

Our family loved this campground. It was clean and well kept. We were able to upgrade and moved to a spot right by the creek. It was so peaceful. They bring firewood to your site which is super nice and convenient. The ONLY recommendation I would give would be to make the men's and women's bathrooms separate bathhouses. We will definitely come back soon.

Overall we had a great experience. The campsites are super close together. Literally almost on top of each other. If privacy while camping is your thing not the place for you. If a more community camping experience is what you are looking for then definitely worth a weekend visit. The owners are super nice and property is pretty and kept up well. There are other hipcamps that offer more secluded areas for a similar price.

Our first trip out this year… Trout Creek Campground did not disappoint! The campground is beautiful and the staff are attentive and welcoming. Very peaceful! A great place to unplug and relax!!

Trout Creek Campground Car Camping

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. It just wasn’t the camping experience we expected. I would suggest updating the photos and description so that it’s clear this is a very busy campground for families (we thought it was just a family-owned campsite, not a campground for families). It was like being in a busy parking lot next to a playground.

Not remote, not secluded. Lots of campsites on top of each other. We drove past our campsite and left immediately. If you’re a seasoned camper, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a good spot to park your SxS at the thunder dome, this is a great spot.

Trout Creek Campground Car Camping

We had a great time tent camping with our two kiddos! There’s so much to do just around the campground. Tons of shade, nice cool creek, a couple ponds that the kids would catch tadpoles and a green area with a playground. The owners take pride in this place and you can tell. Very clean bathrooms and free showers. I never saw any trash anywhere on the grounds. We’ll definitely be returning!

Loved the isolation and quite. The sound of the stream running next to our camp site helped lull us to sleep at night. Very friendly people running the camp. Was easy enough to find as the directions were good. All in all my wife and I enjoyed our time there.

Our RV site was by a bubbling brook, with tall trees all around. Campers were great about honoring the quiet hours, which helped it feel even more restful.

Very nice campground. The onsite host even helped me park. Very kid friendly with playground equipment. Only negatives we experienced were no cell coverage or WiFI. We'll be back.
