Teresa was a great host and has a lovely piece of property on the lake. the fhu campsite is a bit tricky to get into if you have a larger camper, but we did just fine. she met us at the driveway and walked us thru what we needed to do. we had a peekaboo view of the lake from the camper. the site was level side to side but a bit downhill. we had no issue getting level with our 28 ft tt. it’s a short walk down the hill to the dock behind her home.

Ms. Teresa was very accommodating with our 2 day trip to Lake Wylie. I would definitely recommend this spot for camping to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life. Very peaceful and a beautiful spot. We were able to enjoy her dock both morning and evening. She allowed us to dock our boat as well. A++

The view of the lake during sunset was beautiful. Nice not to have other campers next to my site, even though we where within the proximity of the two houses. Teresa is a very nice host.

Teresa tent spot was a great place to park our sprinter for the night, very peaceful and had a nice buck come by in the evening and first thing in the morning. We will be back!

Teresa's place is a hidden gem and she is a wonderful host! Serene and beautiful! Right on Lake Wylie, it's a nice quiet spot in the Steele Creek area very close to all the store. I'm glad I found her campsite. Just a head up though, the campsite is gravel. If you have little kids, I recommend bringing camping chairs or an little bench for spending time outside.

This spot was really beautiful and you can see the lake from your site. I am a 32 foot class A motorhome and it was very difficult for me to back into the site. Once I got in the site, it was hard to level. Once I got settled, everything was great. It was very private and peaceful. Teresa was very helpful with things to do in Charlotte. And I really appreciated her help when I got ready to leave. I really enjoyed my time there!

Teresa’s property was lovely and she was a perfect host. The property itself is beautiful. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful. The site is also very conveniently located to many attractions. We were only there a short time but managed to visit the beautiful Freedom park, Darby Farms, and The Billy Graham Library. We highly recommend visiting each of these attractions. Hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful spot to camp at. 30amp electric and water hookup available. Can walk between the two houses to reach the dock. Teresa was inviting and kind. The area is very wooded and dark at night. My RV is almost a 60 foot setup between the trailer and RV, so a spotter or experienced driver may be necessary to park. The site is on a slight incline, I had to use level blocks. All in all 5/5 star area, definitely worth it.

I had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The location is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely lake that added to the serene atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our host, Teresa, was incredibly kind and helpful—when I asked if she had any batteries, she went out of her way to provide them, which I really appreciated. She was respectful of our space and allowed us to enjoy our stay without any interruptions. I would definitely come back for another stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at Teresa's site #1 at Lake Wylie. It was awesome having full hookup and within walking distance to the lake. Teresa was very nice, responding quickly to any questions I had before and during our stay. Just FYI there was a hill to get to and from the dock at the lake but the well maintained, landscaped steps did not present a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again!

I so enjoyed staying at Teresa‘s land. She is a gracious and helpful host. I felt very safe there .She has two sites. One with Water and Electric and the other primitive. I stayed in the one with Water and Electric. It was just as the pictures depicted. Level gravel site. Beautiful view of the lake. It was downhill to the lake, so I decided to just sit at my campsite and look as I was tired from my drive This was just as lovely.
Teresa was so helpful. With hints on how to manage my camper(This was my first time using Hipcamp) And my GPS Alternate route system

The place was private, peaceful and beautiful. The lake was awesome. Teresa is a very hospitable host and very kind. Make sure you carry a tarp for the red clay. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely return.

We watched some great fireworks on the lake and enjoyed the company 🥰

We loved staying here! The kids had a blast jumping in the lake. Then we spent our nights fishing, We caught sooo many catfish, Lots of regular size and one monster catfish!! But most importantly Teresa was absolutely amazing! She made our first Camping experience the best! I can't say enough about her. We loved this place so much we have already booked again! I am counting down the days to come back (just a couple weeks)
Not only was it a blast it's pretty private, We felt safe being here!
It's going to be hard to find a spot as good as this one 🩶

One of our best Hipcamp experiences thus far! Level, dedicated gravel pad with easy access electric. The lake is breathtaking, especially at night. Teresa was very nice and gave clear, precise instructions about everything. A gem to be sure! A+++

We had a relaxing stay at Teresa’s RV Campsite over Memorial Day weekend with our family of four in our travel trailer. The campsite is well-maintained and clean with a 30A hookup and sewer connection. While she gets the water connection fixed at the campsite, she allowed us access to the water spigot at her house which is about 125’ away from the site.
When we arrived, Teresa showed us around the property and showed us the areas that we had access to, which included a patio area, a fire pit seating area, a nice tree swing, and a beautiful dock on the lake!
There’s an outlet shopping center about 10 minutes away which was a big plus for my wife.
One of the things we liked most about this campsite is that it was very wooded, quiet, and peaceful while being very close to pretty much anything you want to do.
Overall, Teresa’s RV Campsite provided the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend getaway.
