Nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in Western North Carolina, Foxfire of Murphy Mountain RV campsites is surrounded by some of the most beautiful country that this land has to offer. Located near countless lakes, mountain peaks and lush forest, the homestead is ideal for mountain camping. Our park is family owned by true locals. FHU at each of our large sites, walking trails, off leash pet area, laundry room, clean bathhouse and laundry. Our unique location makes it easy to visit several small towns within minutes of the park. Historic Murphy, Blue Ridge, GA, Blairsville, GA, McCayesville, GA and Ducktown, TN are all within a quick 15-30 drive.

Site 14 - FHU Back-Site
My family recently had the pleasure of staying at Foxfire of Murphy and can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained campground that instantly felt like home. The campground is beautifully situated in the scenic mountains of Murphy, offering beautiful views, a tranquil environment, and stunning night skies!! We enjoyed a little oasis by the creek complete with a fire pit and several trees perfect for hammocking. It was perfect for a relaxing getaway and short vacation for our family. Foxfire at Murphy’s sites are spacious, level, and well-maintained, with full hookups. The restrooms and showers were immaculately clean, and THE NICEST campground bathroom we’ve experience! The Wi-Fi service was incredibly reliable, which was a great bonus for staying connected. From the moment we arrived, the campground host and owners made us feel right at home. They were friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions or provide assistance. Overall, Foxfire of Murphy exceeded all our expectations. It’s a perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and friendly service. If you’re looking for a fantastic camping experiences the Ocoee River Valley, I highly recommend staying!!!!
