Great campsite! Each site comes with a rake, trash can, and a fire pit. Bathroom is very clean. Lots of access along the bank for fishing. Definitely plan to come back!

Camping with the puppers
The camp site was absolutely amazing! The view of the river was beautiful! All the camp sites were clean and well kept. Fire wood was reasonably priced. There was a lot of wildlife to observe and fishing was a lot of fun. Our dogs and us very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

This is a great place to camp. The sites are large and well spread out and being able to put in for our kayak right from our camping site was a definite plus! The directions from the host were clear and the turn off from the road was well marked. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely incredible location! The grounds are exceptionally well kept and it’s so convenient to have restrooms close to your campsite!
Easy access to launch our kayaks and play in the water.
Lisa was an excellent host and we will be returning.

Black River/Three Sisters swamp tri
very nice spot right on the river. The sites we had were fairly close to each other but there is ample space among the trees to set tents etc. and lots of wood to gather for our fire.
Port-a-potties well kept, trash can on hand, great boat ramp to the river. Expect some cool wildlife too. We had barred owls and a river otter hanging out!
This campground really was ideal for our day long float through the Three Sisters swamp.

Great location!
Me, my brother, and five friends had a great time on the river tent camping and fishing. Weather was great, and so was the scenery. Lisa was a great host. The sites are right in the river, so very convenient!

Fun weekend on the river
We had an awesome weekend camping at Black River Ventures! Site 12 was perfect for setting up 3 small tents and a little camp/ kitchen area around the fire. We really appreciated the grate over the fire to cook brats and hotdogs easily the first night in the rain. All accommodations were perfect, clean bathrooms (baby wipes were a great extra tough), dry firewood available, fish biting in the river right by our site, and nice flat place to put in kayaks. :) our weekend was perfect even though we had 1 whole day of rain! Thanks Lisa for such a beautiful place to escape to!

Beautiful spot, a bit too close to the highway for my personal taste, but that also means easy access. Port-a-johns were clean, fishing was good, kayak launch easy to use and set in a pretty place as well. Would come again!

Beautiful river views and large level campsites! Picnic tables and fire rings are at each site. The Porta pottys were clean and near the sites. Lisa was a wonderful host! Thank you. We will be back next year!

Camp right on the river
Beautiful spot! All spots are right on the river. Whole place is very clean and the hosts were so nice and stopped by to check on us. Port o john cleanest one I have ever seen! Launched our kayaks right off our camping spot and enjoyed a campfire by the river at night. I have a very small teardrop camper and it fit perfect (call host before bringing a "camper" as only something tiny will fit).

Best camping weekend! Campsite is right along the water and you can put the canoe or kayak in right at your campsite. The river is lined with the most beautiful trees and waterways and is shallow enough for swimming. We want to come back every year :)

Great location with easy access to launch our kayaks! The camp sites were well maintained and Lisa and her Husband went well out of their way to make is feel welcome. I would highly consider this your next tent camping experience!

I've been to Black River Camping Ventures several times now, but this time brought my pup for his first adventure. "Lisa's Land" is a spectacular getaway and the river scenery is epic! The pup LOVED being on the water for the first time and enjoyed chasing the cypress knees. The place is always well maintained and super quiet. We can't wait to go back soon!!

Great place for tent camping. You can easily get to your site and set up for some fishing, kayaking, canoeing and camping. Good sites for your first campout with kids or a group of friends.
