We didn’t end up getting to stay at the cabin as we couldn’t get into the drive way. Would definitely recommend taking a four wheel drive if you are going after rain. Annabelle was lovely and did everything she could to help but it just didn’t work out. So would definitely recommend Annabelle as she was friendly, kind and helpful.

The perfect hideaway!! We had a lovely weekend and saw so much wildlife. It was so nice to dip our feet in the stream on a warm sunny day. And the shower was luxury when it was chilly in the evening! The cabin was so cosy and comfy. Would definitely recommend, and hope to come back one day. Next time will have to bring binoculars to watch the birds. Thank you Annabelle and Drew.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The privacy is 10/10, the surrounding forest is very calming and the cabin is perfect. Kept us warm and snug!!

This was a great spot! Lovely property and perfect location. Cabin was very cosy at night with the fire inside and was so quiet the entire time! Annabelle was very helpful with any questions we had, and would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away and unwind.

We absolutely loved our weekend away to the cabin! It was extremely cold, but the fire pit and the indoor fireplace definitely helped.
It’s a lovely location, beautiful night sky, and you feel completely isolated.
We had a few issues with our car and the hosts were extremely helpful, Even coming to tow us out of trouble! Very friendly people and extremely helpful.
I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a little escape, Just be prepared to collect a lot of firewood if you come during winter 😁

The Cabin
The cabin was very cosy and stayed nice and warm while it was snowing outside! The amenities were amazing and the surrounding land was very peaceful and great for the dogs. Would love to stay again.

We loved this log cabin! The site is completely private set in a beautiful location. Annabelle has made this space truly special with great amenities to make your stay really comfortable whilst enjoying the wildlife and scenery. Highly recommend!

The Hideaway is absolutely beautiful and Annabelle is so lovely and helpful. The cabin is warm and cosy and you have absolutely everything you need to have an unplugged trip. Oberon is a 15 minute drive away and a wonderful town to visit with plenty of quality local businesses to support. We'll definitely be back!

Such a charming rustic log cabin in one of my favourite areas in the region. Absolute heaven! An abundance of wildlife like kangaroos, deer, black cockatoos, galahs and others. Do as little or as much as possible.

My friends and I loved camping at The Hideaway with its beautiful surroundings. The amenities and the cabin were great, especially the shower with the awesome view!
Annabelle and her family were lovely, friendly and helpful.
