NSW Ski Gardens is situated on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry. Every October - April is our peak time and its busy! Please be aware there is river noise during our busy times on weekends so may not suit those looking for tranquillity on weekends. During the week it's fine but weekends are busy and a bit noisy. We are 1.2 km from the township along the River Road. There are powered and unpowered sites for caravans and campers set in a rustic location. Amenities include hot showers, laundry, on-site kiosk and boat ramp (fee applicable). BBQ and covered picnic area. Dogs are welcome on leash. Firewood is available for purchase on-site.

We're a commercial park and it can get busy here on weekends. It's not a private land farm campsite.

Easy site selection options. Friendly manager on site. No water or power to sites so plan accordingly. Great views across the river. Stunning location. Small shop on site. Try to avoid camping next to school groups as they are guaranteed to be noisy as I found out. Would happily book here again.

Spent 2 nights. Very clean amenities. Grassy area was outstandingly well kept, which made it great to camp on with a dog. Highly recommend and would definitely return there again

Loved our weekend camping getaway here to celebrate my birthday! Christine was very accomodating and allowed us to upgrade to a riverfront site on the day. The campsites and amenities/facilities are clean and well kept. Would recommend.

We had a very peaceful couple of days here. Big open areas and amazing lakefront views. Christine was very welcoming and loves to stop for a chat. Toilet block is older but clean. Highly recommend if looking for a peaceful haven.

Such a great campsite, we stayed with our dogs on one of the premium waterfront sites and it was perfect. There was a private sheltered area with a bbq, chairs & table & fire pit. Toilets & showers were super clean too. We also went into town and had a great breakfast at heritage valley cafe which was also dog friendly. 10/10 we will be back!

We had a lovely camping experience at NSW Ski Gardens! The spot by the water is peaceful and family-friendly. The caretakers were amazing — so kind and helpful. We had some unexpected showers but still enjoyed every bit. Would definitely visit again!

The campsite was fine and very close by. We stayed in the grassy area, which gave us more space for the kids. There was nothing wrong with the site itself, but we noticed that the lady charged us $17 for the extra tent, even though the website said it would be $11. I was okay paying the amount, since it’s what we had to pay, but being overcharged doesn’t look good. I didn’t check this while we were there—only noticed it in my account after we checked out.

Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful spot on the river, really well maintained. We had plenty of space & the facilities are super clean, first time taking our dog camping too and she had a great time. We will definitely be back !!

We absolutely loved our stay at this unpowered campsite! Christine, the host was beyond amazing. She really does everything & made sure we had a great night’s sleep! Our kids were excited with the campfire experience & had the best time roasting marshmallows (firewood available to purchase on-site). We brought our pickleball set and badminton racquets for some fun outdoor games. The little mini mart at the front was super handy too, the kids grabbed ice creams while we picked up bait for fishing but just remember to bring cash for purchases. Toilets were always clean and the showers had both hot & cold water. Though only Telstra works there, it made our stay feel peaceful & unplugged, yes free screen time for everyone! Make sure to bag your rubbish properly and use the red & yellow bins provided at each site. This helps keep the place as beautiful as Christine maintains it. We can’t wait to come back & already planning our next trip here with friends! Thank you, Christine for being such a wonderful & hardworking host! She truly goes above & beyond to make sure everyone’s comfortable & happy because you can really feel how much care she puts into the place.

I understand that people come camping to relax and have fun, so some noise is expected. However, it would be nice if there were quiet hours set, as most places I’ve been to don’t allow loud noise after 10 p.m. Late at night, a group of young campers arrived and played loud music, which woke me up. Other than that, the bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained. If the street lights could be turned off at night to let campers enjoy the stars more clearly, it would really enhance the camping atmosphere.

We loved camping here. The surroundings were lovely, the amenities clean and friendly staff. The kids kayaked, played in the grounds and enjoyed snacks from the well stocked kiosk.

Fantastic campsite with a great layout! Everything was close by — fire pit, toilets/showers, bins, kiosk, and the a short stroll to the river. Plenty of shade and beautiful scenery all around. Very peaceful. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved it, small, idyllic, on the river. Had a fire every night. Friendly, Christine came and unobtrusively checked on us everyday. Very laid back, we were there mid week, winter.

This was a really great site! Right by the river and lots of space. Clean amenities were a walk away but nothing too far. Site also had a kiosk on site (closed Wednesdays) which saved us with snacks and hot food for kids. River was a wonderful view and sunset was gorgeous. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back!

Soft ground and grass. Plenty of natural shade. Bins and fire pits are conveniently spread around. Amazing shower and bathroom facilities very clean and an abundance of hot water. Close to town to walk or drive into. Great for a small weekend away with friends or family no matter the size of your group.
