Me and my husband visited and we had a wonderful time. There was heaps of space all to ourselves, which our cattle dog took advantage of, and the view we had was spectacular. The hosts were super friendly, we would definitely come back with more people in tow.

Whilst it was awesome to have our own private space I am glad we were car camping and not tent camping as there was nowhere smooth or flat to pitch a tent. Even in the car we struggled with it being parked on uneven ground. All the vegetation that was bulldozed to create the space was just pushed back into the surrounding bush. The host was lovely but the site needs work if you want a restful sleep.

This is such a lovely spot. The view from the Camping spot is beautiful. We had a nice fire during the evening and it was very quiet throughout our stay.

The view was fantastic and the site was neat and tidy, and easy to get to with a 4wd. However there is no shade and because it was the height of summer, it was just too hot to be there until the early evening. There's no river/creek/dam/lake on site so we went to the nearby Ironbark Falls for the afternoon which was lovely, and returned to the site in the early evening. It was absolutely fantastic by that time of day with amazing views and gorgeous night sky. Overall the site is probably best suited to winter camping and we would definitely consider rebooking in autumn/winter/spring when the lack of shade is not an issue.

Awesome, secluded spot. Only 1hr away from Sydney. Great place to go, set up a tent and switch off. Host was easy to deal with and sent easy instructions. Will definitely be back

Great private spot with fantastic views of the valley to the north and clear view of the sky with low light pollution for enjoyong the stars, spotting satellites, astronomy and astrophotography - On a clear night try some long exposure shots on your camera/phone. Hosts were great with excellent communication. Can get a bit windy and site is generally not level but that's the price for the view and doesn't detract from the experience if your prepared.

The spot is very peaceful and secluded and the sounds of nature are all around. The owners were also very responsive to questions and seemed lovely.
The site could however use some levelling as there were a lack of decent sized flat spots to pitch the tent and we didn’t bring a spade to level out an area. It had been ripped and cleared recently and was quite raw from this still, making it very lumpy and hollowy. I think with time it will flatten out and this will not be such an issue.
With certain breeze directions the chook farms could be a bit wiffy also.
That said, well worth the stay. Did some nice walks in the near vice mitt also and The Hub is close and good for missing supplies and coffee.

It was a short 45min drive from Sydney, we enjoyed our stay as it was quiet and neat hilltop with just us there. Plenty of firewood around, the lawn seem fresh cut and well kept. Only had some trouble stacking down my tent into the ground as it keeps on hitting rocks.
