We’ve loved staying on a few different small farms as we travel around. Michaela’s farm is great. Nice and quiet. Lots of wildlife about as well to entertain the kids.

Great place well kept, friendly host and the dam site is so tranquil waking up to the birdlife and falling asleep to the sound of frogs. Was a good base for our stay in Sydney

Great little place and easy to find. Michaela (Host) was super nice, and Teddy the dog is the friendliest thing since I dont know when.
This site is only 8 minutes from Windsor Beach, which is the start line of the Hawkesbury classic, marathon events, and other paddle based adventure.
So it would make an extraordinary staging point to get the kayaks and canoes ready before any of these events.
Loved staying here.
Will stay again.

Can't really leave a in-depth review as we booked the site but didn't stay as the ground was very wet and we got bogged in very deep mud. The hosts helped us get out and were very understanding that we didn't want to stay and provided a refund.

It's a stop over place and that's all. Theres a lot of traffic noise and I imagine the ground would be very muddy even with a moderate shower. The best part of my stay there was Teddy the dog,he's a champion and is very good with other dogs.

Unfortunately the dam site is very small and with only two caravans (not large) and one tent it felt like we were on top of each other.
The ground is quite sloped if you aren’t close to the dam fence. Road noise could be heard throughout the night. I felt it was overpriced.
Beautiful Teddy the risking dog and friendly horses were nice to encounter.

Michaela was a great host who made my short stay very comfortable. This is a great spot for those close to NW Sydney suburbs and offers a quiet garden retreat. Together with partner Holger and delightful Teddy the all too friendly dog this little spot is ideal for a day or so away from “The Smoke”

We needed one night near Sydney, this was fine for that. It's basically a grassy area in front of the owner's house, nothing amazing. There's no signage to show the different sites and the owner's weren't around when we arrived so we had no idea where to park our caravan or if we were even in the right place. same with the toilet, no signage, no idea where it was.
The horses and pets were lovely. Overall, handy for passing through but nothing else.

Michaela, Hogan and Teddy (furbaby) together with their two majestic horses, Cash and Oggy, greeted us with warm welcome. They were very friendly and accommodating which made our weekend even more wonderful.
Michaela was very friendly and compassionate. I enjoyed having a healthy convo with her.
Also, she was so kind to have no restriction on our check out time. Which made our last day even more comfortable because we do not need to rush off and pack everything. We took our time which was very relaxing tbh.
The Aldi shop was just less than 10-minute drive away..easy access to get a pack of ice or foodies.
Overall, this experience at Michaela was really amazing.
Would recommend it and would definitely come back

A great farm stay, close to trains into Sydney. Quiet and peaceful, loved the resident horses and the warm welcome from Michaela and her lovely dog.
Will definitely revisit when transiting the Sydney area.

Highly recoomend this place.
Super friendly owners with animals that gave the warmest greeting.
Small space for camping but it is enough.
No shower but clean toilet and small sink, great if you have the setup for this.

Great stay not too far out from Sydney city.
Dam site was pleasant. Note. The land is close by to roads and street lights but distant enough to not even notice. So not exactly middle of nowhere but good for entry level camping experience.
Toilets were clean and within 2 mins walk.
Plenty of nature sounds at night.
Say hi to their resident dog. Super friendly camping companion.

We loved camping here. Michaela was very kind and her garden where we stayed was beautiful. We also really enjoyed having all the animals around us. Especially the dog was amazing.

Beautiful spot: the view over the dam at sunset was stunning every day. Nice clean toilet, close to public transport with bus stops nearby!
Michaela and family are kind and friendly hosts, doing their best to make your stay relaxing and stress free.
We especially enjoyed getting to know the resident horses, and my dog (Teddy the Staffy x Lab) loved meeting and playing with resident dog (Teddy the Maremma), as well as admiring the neighbouring cows, horses, alpaca, a very cute family of ducks and resident orange cat - Charlie.
The nighttime symphony of frogs was delightful, and the bugs entirely manageable even staying so close to the Dam.
We will miss all the lovely animals, we greatly enjoyed our stay and will keep this in our favourites for future adventures.

By the damn surrounded by trees was just what I needed. The birdlife, horses, dog and cat were entertaining. A couple of chats with Michaela and her hubbie made it a nice relaxed camping time. Thankyou

Was a lovely host, plenty of space to park up and be private from the house and road. Jay 2 mins to Windsor and 20 to Yarramundi reserve for dog walking on the Nepean river. Great place to transit thru Sydney. We loved the quiet and looking over the dam.

The environment is perfect for a lovely relaxing weekend. We camped in our RV and the site was perfect. The animals loved it there and Michaela was the perfect host. We will certainly be going back there.

We absolutely enjoyed car camping at Michaela’s. It was a very peaceful site with a clean and accessible toilet. Michaela has two very lovely horses which we are very fortunate to pet and help her feed as well as a super friendly + sweet dog Teddy who loves make new friends play with guests. We will miss them dearly.

Loved the quiet!
We camped with our 2 dogs over the long weekend.
Michaela was great and friendly and so was her horse. 🐴 he was super cheeky!
The camp area was perfectly flat.
There was a few people camping on the property but we were all really spaced out so you couldn’t hear anyone.
The toilet was really close to the site so it was perfect!
