Welcome to Moulin de La Geneste, a peaceful, small-scale nature campsite in the heart of France. With only 25 spacious pitches (70–120 m²) for tents, caravans, and campervans, our campsite offers privacy, shade, and plenty of greenery – the perfect spot to relax and reconnect with nature. For those seeking something extra, we offer unique rentals: * Two cozy chalets with wooden cladding * A comfortable mobile home * A fairytale-like hobbit house * A romantic gypsy wagon * And in high season, two stylish bell tents with lake views * The campsite is calm, simple, and full of natural charm. Spend your days as you like: * Fish at the scenic lake *Explore the private forest, where birds sing and benches invite you to relax * Paddle or relax on the lake * Listen to the waterfall or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings Dogs are very welcome, and everyone is free to enjoy the campsite at their own pace. Peaceful Camping with Lake and Forest Welcome to our quiet campsite in the heart of the Corrèze. Here, pitches are large, green, and private – giving you plenty of space to relax, listen to the birds, and enjoy starry skies at night. On site you’ll find: A small lake (for kayaking and peaceful afternoons by the water) A river where you can stroll, play, or even try fishing A gnome and fairy forest for kids to explore A friendly animal meadow with goats, chickens, and ponies A communal barbecue area with a view of the lake Facilities include clean showers, toilets, fresh water, and shared fridges. Dogs are welcome 🐾. It’s a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy simple pleasures – whether that’s exploring medieval Uzerche nearby, walking in the forest, or just unwinding by the lake. Wedgewood Wagon

A romantic woodland hideaway Wake up to birdsong and the scent of pine trees in our charming Wedgewood wagon, tucked away between oaks and pines. Built on the axles of a 1920s French wine cart and crafted from local oak and elm, it has the rustic character of a shepherd’s hut with the comfort of a tiny home. Inside you’ll find a full-size double bed, table and chairs, storage cupboards, a fridge, electric sockets and lights. On request we can add a small futon bed for a child. Outside is your own well-equipped summer kitchen with gas hob, pots and pans, and a picnic table. There’s also space to pitch a small extra tent if needed. We provide: Towels & bedding Electricity & fridge Outdoor summer kitchen It’s a cosy, romantic spot where you can cook under the trees, read on the veranda, and fall asleep to the sounds of the forest.

Wooden Chalet

Our oak chalets have been completely renovated and are modern in design. One double bedroom and a separate bedroom with bunk beds means our chalets sleep up to four people. There is the option of a futon or cot if required (please enquire before booking). The main living area has a hand crafted oak kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and DVD player, an electric heater plus a wood burning stove to keep you cosy in the colder months. Shower room. Each chalet has its own private terrace with comfortable seating, a picnic table and BBQ, perfect for those warm summer evenings.
