My wife and I noticed that there are not many options for clothing optional camping in our area, so we made a place. Sunset Mountain is a private nudist campground. We have rv sites and tent camping available also a bathroom facility with indoor shower and two outdoor showers. We have a hot tub guests can use along with hiking trails and a propane grill. Sunset Mountain is near the Elk River in Noel Missouri and close to Northwest Arkansas where there are mountain biking trails, museums and many other activities. Sunset Mountain is listed on the Monarch Butterfly Waystation registry as well.

Sunset Mountain Nudist Campground

Just what I needed.

I’m no stranger to Sunset Mountain. I’ll probably be there a lot this summer. But even in cooler temps, these two nights were just what I needed. The Jesus Bus was great! The trails, the hot tub- morning, afternoon, or night with the nice lights on the porch! A hammock in the breeze. Just awesome! Great hosts as always. Highly recommended.

we had a fantastic time. the hosts are amazing and very accommodating! and that view is absolutely stunning. we give this place a 10/10.
