David’s backyard campsite is in a residential area not far from downtown Northampton, and the trees that surround it make it feel private. The fire pit is an added bonus!

I really enjoyed camping here! The backyard is thoughtfully laid out and the bathroom is clean and tidy. David is a friendly, welcoming host and I felt right at ease. This is a great home base for exploring the area - a beautiful part of the state.

David was such a lovely host! The area is fantastic, he was so warm and welcoming, and the spot is incredibly relaxing. He even gave us a handful of wonderful recommendations of places to visit in the are. I would highly recommend this little piece of heaven!

We had a wonderful stay! This site is in an excellent location, within walking distance to town and Look Park. The backyard site was well stocked with everything you'd need for a relaxing night out. David was so welcoming and helpful! We plan to return whenever we're in the area. Thanks David!

Our favorite HipCamp stay yet! David was so welcoming and the set up was perfect. Plenty of space, flat ground, a fire pit, access to an indoor bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to camp!

Great Site in a Nice Neighborhood
David was a great host. Gave me the entire backyard and already had a campfire setup for me. The yard was flat and I had no problem finding a good place for my tent.
He offered me use of the grill but I didn’t need it. I did make great use of the private bathroom and shower and he let me use the laundry which was exceptionally helpful.
The house is pretty close to Northampton’s extensive bike trail network, which was helpful as I stayed here while on a solo bike tour. I will absolutely consider staying here again if I’m looking to camp in the area.

Dave was so welcoming and flexible with our check in time. He had the wood in the fireplace all set up which was such a sweet touch. The fenced backyard gave us ease of mind for our dog to roam around and having access to a toilet and shower in the basement was awesome!
We loved the location! It was less than a 10 minute drive to Northampton.
He is a wonderful host!

Had a great, short stop lat David’s on my way through the Northeast. He was very accommodating and friendly, with a comfortable set up! Super close to college campus’ and the nearby Main St. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I had an incredible time at this stay! David was incredibly hospitable — he was welcoming, answered a bunch of our questions, and made us feel so at home! The backyard was calming and very spacious. Bathroom was also very convenient and clean. The area was quiet and close to the Main Street. Highly recommended!

David provided super clear directions in advance and was extremely helpful and accomodating while we were there. Location was great, backyard was super cute, and host was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you have a dog (fenced in yard!).
