Prancing Deer Farm was established in 2018 as a working farm and event venue in Warwick, Maryland.Come pitch your tent(s) or bring your camper/RV/van to the private, scenic working farm known as Prancing Deer. Enjoy herds of up to 25 deer at dawn and twilight, as well as foxes, eagles, turtles, frogs, fireflies, egrets, and an assortment of colorful birds. Located in Warwick, Maryland, the farm is about 10 minutes away from Middletown, Delaware where you can find shopping, dining, and events. Also the farm is a short driving distance to the Bohemia River and the Chesapeake Bay. A stay at Prancing Deer is ideal for people looking for a tranquil experience with little to no amenities, although we do have an electricity hook-up available. We stopped here for an overnight on our way south, but had a great stay! Electric hookup was a great amenity so we could run the heat/air in our camper. Would definitely stay here again!

Prancing Deer Farm

I camped here in my self-contained van. Loved the field because I had the opportunity to train my two young dogs and practice their retrieving and recall. It was very quiet for sleeping. I stayed on the edge of the field with my van to make sure I didn’t make any ruts or get stuck due to the massive amounts of rain we have recently had.

Lovely farm field. dog loved it.

Lovely farm field. Perfect for dog to run free; we had a nice walk around at midnight, under a bright moon. . Very easy access. short gravel drive and you’re there!

Out-of-the-way place

It was a beautiful isolated area. I kind of was expecting animals, but I think that is in more spring and summer. My dogs got to roam free, which was absolutely wonderful. If you have an older rig, you will need an AC adapter to plug into electric. Otherwise it was a wonderful place and I probably will be returning.

Very clean and straightforward!

Super easy site to get into. Great 5G etc if you care about being in touch! (I could stream my NLCS). Great site for large groups but also great for my needs just solo. There’s lots of road noise from RT 301 but wouldn’t notice in an RV. The electric hookups are awesome for those that need or want power even 110v.
