Site 4 - The Yoga Barn HipCamp
Our group all together had three people and a dog. This site worked great for us and we had a fantastic time. None of us had taken an outdoor shower or used a composting toilet before coming to this site, but Jan explained everything and it was super simple. I had probably one of the best showers of my life there!
I also really appreciated that firewood and the tools to split it were provided. Really lovely place and hostess, we will definitley stay again if we are ever in the area.

Jan’s place was quiet and peaceful yet only a 5-10 minute drive to town if needed. She was so welcoming and the facilities on site were super clean.

Jan’s space has a good feeling, like it’s made for a special gathering — which it was. Sites are close together but it seems like they’re usually not occupied and being close puts you right next to great outdoor bath installations, fire pit and firewood. The driveway is off of a residential street where the plots of land start to get bigger outside of Ruston — for being relatively close to town it feels fully like a rural retreat with the woods around. Jan is very kind and welcoming. I would come here again.

Jan’s property is just beautiful! We stayed in our skoolie for one quick night, but loved the fire pit and the outdoor shower. Jan came by to say hello after her evening yoga class and we chatted for a while, she was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return.

Jan is an amazing host! She checked in a couple of days prior to my arrival to make sure she would be available when I got there. She showed me around the camp area, and let me use the yoga barn for the night. Facilities were clean & convenient.

Camping in the boonies... nice
Jan was super helpful both before and after my arrival. I was in a fairly large 5th Wheel dry camping. There are several places mostly level to park.
All should know that the place is 'out in the country' so plenty quiet but fairly narrow roads getting to property. One bridge has a 5-ton rating but that's probably not a problem as it can probably carry twice as much.

Quiet yoga retreat.
We loved our visit to the Yoga Barn. Jan was so welcoming and kind and her property was beautiful. Tall pine trees lined the campsite with a central firepit and comfy chairs. There is a nice hot shower and outdoor sink plus a wonderful yoga gathering space. The campsite is very secluded and tranquil. We felt lucky to have spent an evening there and hope to return. Highly recommended!

Great spot for dogs and campers!
Such an amazing spot!! Everything was beautiful and the camping circle is a perfect spot with fire pit in the middle. Jan was so helpful and welcoming. It was easy to find with her great instructions and the composting toilet and sink area made everything convenient and easy. Our dog had a great time running the land. Great spot, highly recommend!!

Excellent space and excellent hospitality from Jan. There is a large camping area with a central fire pit and plenty pf space. The shower was semi outdoors in a shed but with curtains for privacy and hot water. Jan was very nice, the place is beautiful and I would definitely stay here again.

Magical, lovely, and hidden oasis
Jan’s space is magical, welcoming, and a hidden oasis. Happened to be there on a Thursday and dropped into her yoga class. Jan is kind, welcoming, inclusive, and absolutely lovely. We wish we could have stayed longer and highly recommend EVERYONE to stay here. We will be back in this area just to come back to the Yoga Barn.

The Yoga Barn is absolutely the best place to stay! Jan was the sweetest woman you could ever meet. She is there to help you have a safe and cozy camping experience! The Yoga Barn is nice and spacious and as a single woman camper she made me feel safe!! Would 100% come back and recommend to anyone camping near there!
