Skip the RV Park
First time to Kansas, can't say we had a single complaint. Stephanie and Mike were kind and accommodating, the spot was just what we needed for our aframe trailer. (110 HU next to the arena) Sunset and sunrise were like nothing I've ever seen.
When you visit, ask for Wyatt... he loves hugs.

Very kind and friendly hosts. The property is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The horses and cats were a huge perk too! With Steph's instructions it was very easy to find. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Excellent spot! Easy to find and very convenient hookup. Beautiful star viewing and sunrise. Bonus getting to feed hay to the horses in the morning.

Easy access from the interstate
This spot was perfect for what I needed: a quick stop off the interstate and pet friendly. Stephanie’s directions were spot on and easy to follow. I have to admit not being able to have a fire was a bit of a bummer, but with all the hay bales around, it’s understandable. I would stay here again.

Pastoral Stay at a Horse Farm
What great hosts! Mike immediately brought us a hose to connect to our RV and showed how to plug in the electric. Stephanie and BB8 the Cat welcomed us. Wonderful pastoral setting with horses, cows and felines everywhere. Mike gave us a great tutorial on mustang rescues from BLM.

Perfect overnight stay! Traveling east via I70 - not too far off of 70 but not so close where you could hear any traffic noise - very quiet!!! Camp site was as advertised and Stephanie was very responsive to my questions - kind of late in the evening! Hearing the horse close by was a nice touch - would reccomend!

So easy to work with, find, and hookup. Easy in and out. Animals were lovely to visit and we had everything we needed. Great peaceful view too!

Wonderful stay on short notice!
Fantastic sunset and easy parking.
Stephanie gave excellent directions to the property and the animals were very friendly. This will be our new camping spot on road trips.

It’s a perfect mid-country stop. Loved the farm animals but the healthy population of quail (Bob White) and hunting Great Horned Owl were my favorites. Very gracious and helpful host.

Horse farm camping
Great sites under 3 miles off I-70. Directions were clear, campsite was clean and easy to use. Well lit with a portable toilet nearby. There are two sites, so you might have a neighbor. There were also cats and horses on the farm.

Good Farm Stay
Great host, great animals, very quiet. I slept great! I should have known - since I knew there were horses! - about the biting flies. My essential oil bug stuff was not quite adequate to keep them off my calves and ankles (duh), so I tried to keep moving until bedtime.

Great overnight stop
Easy access coming off the interstate following Stephanie's direction. Plenty of electricity for are two A/C roof top units on our 40' fifth wheel. If we are in the area again in the future we will be back.

Location is very accessible. Communication with the host and directions were great. Very SAFE. Great reception on Verizon. Very well maintained.
Would definitely stay again when crossing Kansas.
Horses are a HUGE plus.
Things to consider:
Definitely not a private site, if that’s what you are looking for.
There were 3 cats near the site.
There it is pretty much in the light with a street light been close to the camp site. I did not kind this.
With these disclosures I definitely recommend this site. Great value and great hosts.

Peaceful, safe location for singles
Steph was so nice! Loved seeing all the horses. The campsites were level and sunset was beautiful. The area is well lit and peaceful. Next time I’ll bring an extra window covering to darken the sleeping space. I felt very safe as a single camper! Thank you!

Wonderful hosts and beautiful place
We arrived at the farm around sunset during a crazy thunderstorm. We reserved a tent site but the storm was too bad to set up. Mike and Steph were so nice and accommodating. They let us set our tent up in the barn. It was nice to put away a dry tent in the morning. The horses and cats were so sweet. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had stayed longer! Highly recommend.

This was my second stay at B5 Stable, and I will happily stay again when the occasion arises. The tent area is a large grassy area behind their barn, so the horses greet you quietly in the morning when you wake up, and the friendly farm cats come over to investigate. The hosts are friendly but not intrusive, and took care to make sure I was comfortably settled in. Well located to Interstate 70 and services at Hays.

Amazing spot and Experience.
This was my first hipcamp stay and it did not disappoint.
The route in from the Interstate was straightforward and easy for my 45’ (overall) rig. No clearance issues either.
The site is beautiful and I had a beautiful sunset and woke the next morning to galloping in the arena.
I enjoyed every moment and the hospitality was second to none.

Peaceful and Country charm.
We enjoyed our stay at Stephanie’s farm. She was a great hostess, explaining anything we needed explained and very helpful getting us set in place with our camper. She operates a nice farm with the most adorable kittens ( they won’t stay small for long), she is very educated with the land around her and the rich history of the area. We would gladly stop again in the future if opportunities arise.

Stephanie was the perfect host with a beautiful farm. She and her husband talked to us about their horses and how they trained the horses that were wild mustangs adopted through the BLM. One of the best night of a 7 week trip.
