Our homestead is on the top of Little Bear Ridge with 360 degree views. We have 22 acres, 5 of which is a very large pond that attracts birds of all kinds. Enjoy evening sunsets on the water in our 2 person canoe for guests to use. There is a large grassy area for campers and trailers. Spend your free time exploring one of the many beautiful hikes near us, visiting wineries, or just relaxing here in the quiet. Our designated dark skies make star gazing is amazing in all seasons. When fire danger is low, cozy up to our fire pit. BYO marshmallows. There is a bath house with a shower, flush toilet, and sink. We've outfitted it with plenty of hooks to hang your towels and clothes, basic toiletries and artful details.

Will Stay Again!
A beautiful property with a kind and thoughtful host. The tent platforms are nice and the bathhouse is a great touch. The birds and frogs added the most amazing ambiance to our stay. When we are in the area we will not hesitate to stay at the Hunter Moon Homestead again. Might try a glamping tent or little cabin next time.

Hunter Moon Homestead is great!
This place is incredible! Kate has created a restful and beautiful spot to get in nature and experience a little quiet. The bed in Glamping Platform 4 was comfortable, the bathhouse was convenient and comfortable. Everything about this place was charming and exactly what I was looking for. I'll definitely be back!

Tent Platform 2
Peaceful, cozy and beautiful
It was so beautiful and serene here. Quiet and the wind smelled like vanilla. The bed in the tent was so cozy and it felt amazing to fall asleep to the wind and a lightning show! Kate was an amazing host and so accommodating! I recommend adding on the breakfast, her granola was exquisite!

Perfect little spot - bath house was a nice touch with little hand towels and even a blow dryer/electrical sockets. Host welcoming and inviting. Took the canoe out for checking out the water fowl - sweetness. Curated beautifully and a great location for retreats, events - lots of space and quiet space.
