Miners occupied this property and surrounding area, over 100 plus years ago. Wildlife has been spotted, moose, eagles, wild turkey’s deer, elk, foxes, chipmunks and other assorted birds. It’s a heaven on earth. We purchased the property as bare land in 2020. In 2021 we added power, water and sewer. We built roads and RV pads for family and friends to enjoy. Eden means Paradise (Pristine Natural beauty) it’s our slice of heaven. 2022 We started sharing our land on HipCamp and then added a flushable toilet. The 2023 season we can now accommodate Tent campers as well as RV camping. Beautiful wooded Forrest with 8 RV sites and several non groomed tent sites in a natural setting. Site 1 is a back in site and fits a larger rig. Site 2 is a "pull through". Site 3 and 4 are individual sites. 5 and 7 and 6 and 8 are double sites where 2 smaller campers can fit together allowing friends to book together. All sights has water and power. There is an -RV dump available upon exiting at site 10. 30 minutes to Garden Valley, Catch a performance play at the Starlight Mountain Theater. Payette River, raft the white rapids or go kayaking. 20-25 minutes to the historical mining town of Idaho City, and famous restaurant called Trudy’s, (they have amazing pies) and Gold Miners bar and grill. 45 mins to Robie Creek Lake, 1 hour away from Hill Top station on Hwy 21. Just 5 minutes away is the historical mining town of Placerville, Idaho and a cute fishing pound called Taylors Pond. Not too far are 3 lakes about an 1 hour away. Cascade, Lucky Peak, Black Canyon. ATV, UTV, Bike and hiking tails. Climbing rocks and stream near by. Dogs are welcome on a leash (Please bring a leash) or they can be in a Kennel which we provide if you don't have your own.

Camping with kids
We were here earlier this summer and this fall took our grandsons. They LOVED the zip line, obstacle course, paths to ride their bikes and hike. The best compliment was our grandson asking “Mimi, please we come back another day?” They want to bring their mom and dad too 💕

Great spot with kind hosts
Joan was incredibly friendly and sweet to us! She welcomed us, helped us figure out the best way to park, and showed my kiddos all of the amenities. They have every kind of fun outdoor activity you can think of to enjoy: zip line, horse shoes, fire pit (with wood for your enjoyment), playgrounds, trails… even a “fancy” outhouse by the fire pit so you don’t hVe to go back to your trailer if you’re enjoying the fire! We were the only ones out there this past weekend which was absolutely lovely. One thing to note: the road to get to where you camp is narrow and rutted so that was a little precarious. But we made it! Overall would recommend!

Peace and quiet
Loved the property. It was lovely. Our campsite was perfect with water and electric. There is a sewer dump at the exit, but no sewer hookup for each campsite. It is very close to Idaho City. There are dirt roads getting in and out, so be prepared. Go through Idaho City to get there, as it is the shortest dirt road to navigate. We had a blast! It was so quiet and peaceful. We will go again. Oh and a very important note: There are no critters to worry about. We had no issues with anything getting into our trash. There were chipmunks, owls and one beautiful blue tailed skink! (Like a lizard)

Great tiny campground!
Great spot for families! Awesome play area/obstacle course for the kids and so nice to have power and water as temps were quite hot during that time. Norm and Joan were great hosts and very quick to respond to any questions. Great spot, great little campground...they have done a wonderful job.

Great place with access to trails
Camp Eden gets a 10 star review! Joan was quick to respond prior to booking and upon arrival met us with a smile. The camp was lovely, easy to get to and take off on trails whether hiking or biking. There was a kids area, fire and horseshoe pit and zip line. It was quiet while we were there even with a few other campers staying. We want to take our family next time! Joan and Norm were wonderful hosts!

Nice little campground near trails.
Joan & Norm are gracious host! We had a 35ft 5th wheel toyhauler and had reserved site #5 which would have been a tight fit. Joan met us down on the road and let us know we could change sites. We ended up taking site #2 (back in) which was perfect for our set up. If you have a large trailer sites #1 (pull through) and #2 are best for easier set up. The other sites sit up above 1 & 2 and would be more of a challenge to get a big 5th wheel in. We were able to ride our RZR right from camp and explored many trails. We had a great time at Camp Eden and plan to go back!

Fantastic
The camp sites were fantastic, host's were amazing. So many trails to ride utv's and dirt bikes directly from the property. One of the best experiences we have had.

Site 1 - Camp Eden
We were the first paying guests at Eden.  We couldn't have a better site.  Eden is a tucked away, well thought out campground.  Each site has its own charm.  There's play equipement for children and adults (the horseshoe pit is still in the works) and a communal firepit.  Plenty of trails lead off into the neighboring National Forest land for hiking and biking. Most of our contact was with Joan, who was enthusiastic and helpful.  Very attentive to our needs and preferences.  Highly recommend Eden.

Fun in the forest
What an amazing escape into the beautiful Boise National Forest! Joan and Norm went above an beyond to create a welcoming retreat. My perteens loved the slackline and swing. We wondered through the forest, drove to hot springs and ended our days with a gorgeous campfire. We will be back!
