A-Frame #1
From A-town to an A-Frame!
Where to start? We did a last minute booking when our other plans literally froze! We stayed on an amazing animal farm 2 hours south of Atlanta. It was nothing short of magical.
First the lodging. We stayed in a beautifully crafted A-Frame tiny house. It was super tiny but could have easily slept 6 people. It was very comfortably furnished with a microwave, refrigerator, bar table, loft and memory foam bed. We were snug at night with a space heater.
There was plenty of outdoor seating on picnic tables and a fire pit at our door step. The solar power bath house was clean, airy and was equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. This animal farm has tiny ponies, cows, ducks, donkeys, fowls, chickens, a new puppy, sheep, and goats. Only one missing was Charlotte and Wilbur! It was great.
At night we watched the stars and tried to name the constellations. We will absolutely be back and will bring our hammocks. Inside of the A-frame we kicked back read books, microwaved popcorn and played board games we brought from home.
It was a great way to spend New Years! The owners seem to have big plans of what they will do next on their farm. Right now it's pretty perfect. We are excited to see what they will do next!

Site 4 - Platform in the Pines
We had a great trip. We just stayed one night but could have stayed more. The girls have already asked to go back. We were met at entry and showed to our campground. Communication ahead of time was great. The weather looked iffy and the hosts were willing to move us if needed. Weather turned out fine for our planned tent camping experience but having that communication ahead of time was helpful. Great small campground with everything you need! While we did not stay in them, the “little houses” looked adorable!

This is the site you want!!!!!
I had the best time staying at Lisa & James’s camp. They are the most amazing hosts with huge hearts- the site is safe, clean, private and plenty to do. I encourage everyone to feed the animals no matter how old you are just go do it! Their dogs, hospitality and kind nature make me a forever customer! They also have a bathroom and shower!! It was great! I loved our stay and will be returning to visit their farm family!

Site 4 - Platform in the Pines
We absolutely loved our stay with Lisa and James.
They showed us around upon check in and asked if we needed anything.
The camping site had a fire ring and a portable grill .
The covered tent pad was nice but we didn't use it we put our tents on the ground on the field.
A nice added touch.
Most raised pads you have no where to stake your tent down.
They actually put hooks on the side of the platform to anchor down your tent.
Brilliant.
Bathrooms were nice and clean.
They are currently building 2 tiny houses.
Which the owner showed me.
They are absolutely adorable.
Before we left we went and feed the animals.
The kids absolutely loved it.
Highly recommend.

BEST CAMPSITE I’ve been to
This place was so cute! We arrived and didn’t have much cell service but they had already sent us the code to get into the gate (I liked the extra security of having a gated campsite). We couldn’t find the site at first. When we drove through they had very cute mini house-teepee like buildings for glamoing but we had just reserved a tent site. Someone drove by on a golf cart and was able to take us back to the site. It was right there on the right, you just have to drive through the grass right across from the outhouse, which I wouldn’t have known haha and there weren’t many signs but the hosts were very nice! The site was so cute it was on grass and there were trees kind of in a semi-circle around it. Perfect for privacy but also not deep in the woods or anything. We parked right there and had a fire pit as well as a covered platform for the tent (great if it were to have rained, and to keep the tent off the ground). We also had a picnic table. I really loved this site it was definitely one of my favorites and far exceeded my expectations. We were just looking for somewhere to camp after going to Providence Canyon, but this place was so nice I would drive all the way back just to go here. The price was very cheap and the outhouse was also really nice actually with showers and everything! There were animals in the field behind us which was cute and there was the option to meet them as well. We didn’t take that but I think it’s a cool thing you could do! 10/10 recommend!!
