Nice clean and relaxing camp ground. The kids loved it. Our host were very nice and pleasant. I would definitely come back to this camp ground.

Brook lake was beautiful, calming, the weather was perfect, the welcoming committee was awesome. It was clean. I loved it. I will be back next weekend.

We had a great time camping! The lake water was cold but that didn't stop my 8yr old daughter from swimming and paddle boarding with one of our dogs. She even convinced me to go for a little swim the 1st day. Great communication from the owner who was available all the time.

It was a very beautiful place, we loved it and wished we could stay a bit longer. The hosts were magnificent, they gave us detailed instructions on how to get there and always were just a call away. Would recommend anyone looking for anywhere quiet and peaceful this is your spot. Gas station is nearby too just in case you need to reup on supplies

Pretty camping spot. Weather was good. Very unlevel spaces. Stayed in 26ft class C had to use about 5 inches to level up the best possible way
Restrooms good showers - they did need a good cleaning.
A lot of locals driving in and out past us to fish on lake with a truck there most of day playing music that was loud enough it was obnoxious- but they were having fun. But the continual driving up and down and around our site was a bit much. We were the only camper in the campground but the traffic flow for the lake and day use folks made it feel less secluded
Looks like the lake and campground are for sale
While we did have a relaxing day and night we felt at $60 a night was a little pricey for a very old camp space
The Host was friendly that greeted and brought us to the space.

We my grandson and I loved it. It our first camping trip. It was so peaceful and serene. The fish wasn't bitting but it was so relaxing. The owners were absolutely great they made sure we were ok the entire time. We'll definitely be back soon.

I loved my time spent at Brooks Lake. Bill and Laura are just the best people. Communication was great when I arrived on where to camp, where to park, where the facilities were, etc.
The views are pristine. Beautiful trees, a gorgeous lake, you can fish, there are pavilions and picnic tables all around, and some friendly geese walking around as well! I would absolutely come back here again and look forward to it, already!

When I first pulled in, I saw little heads bobbing, geese! Then when I pulled around to my campsite the road led through a little creek any f150 or bigger could get through no problem!!! How awesome is that?! Then, a downfall, the power went out but we had the generator and gas hooked up in a jiffy, with that being said, the man offered to pay for our gas to run our small heater microwave and tv, along with an easy to remember wifi password which worked so well out by the small uncovered lake pavilion. I traveled in an f350 with a camper on top and had very little to no branches above head that got in the way. This is a fine camp and he was able to make us aware of anything when it went wrong or wasn't working properly.

The camp ground environment is absolutely beautiful. The serene lake was a dream & much needed after many hours driving in holiday traffic. The accommodations including hook ups & bath house met our needs. Wish we had a longer stay! Hope to stay again soon.

Bill & Laura's hospitality was amazing! They made every effort to help us find a great spot right on the lake! Moved and leveled the picnic table while we enjoyed conversation. Communication details were very detail and a great help. The views were beautiful and serene, we even had access to a gazebo next to our camp. We slept in our tent and felt very safe. We caught two nice size catfish just before leaving which was great! I can't say enough about this private camp site, except we will be back again soon.

We had the best time at Brooks Lake — it’s truly our happy place. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and it’s the perfect spot to spend time as a family. My son loved learning to fish and explore the outdoors, and we all enjoyed just slowing down and soaking up the quiet. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming — it really feels like home away from home. We can’t wait to bring our camper back for another weekend by the lake!

Not truly equipped for any Rv’s . The docks were old half on land / water’! Only one electric hook up really worked . For water have to have extension hose. The bathrooms for the guest. So bad, very unclean. Nobody had a single bite in 3 days of fishing, we paid over $70 I am so upset. Not worth $25. The road going in was so rough for our 39 ft. RV not to mention tree limbs over grown leaving scratch marks on top of our Rv . Our first time trying Hipcamp and feel like somebody knows this place isn’t ready for the RV LIFE!

I love camping at Brooks Lake! They are very attentive, quiet, very very peaceful. My grandsons loved riding their bike, basketball, volleyball and the lake is gorgeous.

Absolutely biggest scam ever. I’ve camped primitive in nicer places for less money. Do they have a pretty view? Yes beautiful view but that’s all. The drive in needs repair the bath house was a joke. The loud music and in and out backwoods traffic makes me think it’s illegal activity along with late night partying. The water hose is stretched out across the road because they say water so it’s not a lie but it’s 100plus foot hose. Power is a joke. Hot water heater was messed up for 3 days acting like it just happened. Lady is rude. I don’t have a lot of good things to say. And it wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t a lie I could stay a lot nice for the same money.

This was our second time camping over night in a tent at Brooks Lake. We choose the same spot right on the lake. It's very peaceful and serene. Very sweet host and we will definitely be back.

La experiencia fue grandiosa, la pasamos genial, la atención de la señora cassell en todo momento fue de excelente. Los baños estaban muy limpios, olían bien y se encuentran en buen estado. Recorrimos el campamento y todas las áreas se veían limpias. Volveremos a repetir la aventura. En la mañana vimos un lindo castor navegando en el lago.
