Camping with 3 elementary kids.
This is why we love hipcamp-ing. Host Scott knows the area and is able to give us good suggestions for food and recreation. Massive property for the KIDS to explore. My 3 BOYS spent hours appreciating the land. Everything I needed for my CAMPER was there: water, electric, sewer, etc. We found SPACE, QUIET, and a GOOD LOCATION here.

Great setting
Nice quiet setting. Very diligent and attentive to guests, went well out of his way to guide us when lost, just when settling down for his dinner, and checked in on us during the stay to ensure had everything we needed. Had fire going to welcome us, and set-up for utilities. DO NOT FOLLOW GPS--adhere to hosts directions!!

Camping with children
We loved camping with our grandchildren on this beautiful property! They had plenty of room to play and ride bikes. The host, Scott, was also very helpful and accommodating. He even used his tractor to assist us. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Camping with grandchildren
Beautiful camping spot with gorgeous Live Oak trees that have swooping branches! Enjoyed riding to the lake on our ATV. There was also a little country store with bait and tackle and Hunt Brothers pizza. The host, Mr. Scott, was over the top helpful and friendly. He even brought some groceries and special treats for our grandchildren.
This was a Spring Break trip for our 6 grandchildren. They really enjoyed getting to ride their bikes and playing ball. There was plenty of room for them to frolic.

Great host. Quiet and Peaceful
Scott was the best host; very friendly and accommodating! The site is easy to access and level with Full hookups for our trailer. We loved the dirt road through the woods to let our dogs run everyday. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Good primitive camp w Great hosts!
The host was very welcoming and eager to meet our needs, Scott came out to greet us and immediately built a roaring campfire! His wife was friendly and gave us some coffee for the morning and some grapes to snack on too! My dog loved being off leash and free to explore, the property is beautiful and open, lots of places to hang a hammock or swinging chair! however the motorhome ammenity on the property did not meet our needs. It had several roof leaks in the shower and the vent over the bed was not sealed… after a long period of rain and there was a combination of mold/mildew on the ceiling growing through the paint and on the cabinets and the pillows were discolored with growths as well. The one night we stayed temperatures dropped to 37, and we’re choosing to blame that for the toilet not flushing:/
Given the circumstances, scott was very understanding when we told him we could not bear another 30’s night in our tent. He offered us credit for the remaining 2 nights when it warms up! I would recommend camping primitively on his property and we will be back:)

The real Florida
What a great place to stay! Convenient to Havana and Tallahassee. Fantastic hospitality! The hiking trails are to die for and everything North Florida hides as their treasure. Complete peace surrounded by the unique natural landscapes that is only told about in books.

Scott (Charles goes by Scott) was a wonderful host. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and the hookups made the RV feel like home. Definitely not roughing it! There was plenty of space and plenty of firewood for keeping warm on the coldest day in years. This was the first time I took my RV out and Scott's place was the perfect place to get to know my RV. The kids did some hiking and I got to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

It's a lovely space. It isn't super fancy, but it's plenty adequate. Our host was incredibly accommodating without being intrusive. There is a bit of road noise but it's still rather peaceful. It was safe for our critters (an Aussie and two goats) to be out and about with some trails on the property for adventuring.
