Great spot
Jeff’s property is beautiful and so quiet. The camping spots are grass and level. Jeff was very helpful upon our arrival. Would definitely stay again.

Loud un attended dog barking !
I loved it here for 3 days!!it was heaven. 4 night renter in main house allowed her dog to bark unco ntrollably. I had to drive home 1.5 hr at night due to noise. Owner said he allows dogs... but I poi Ted out they should not be left unattended for hours on a lanae. Very disappointed !!

A Perfect Escape
I can’t say enough good things about Meadow River Ranch. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We had originally reserved for two days and added four more days because we liked it so much. Jeff is very helpful with recommending places to visit and making sure that you have everything you need to make your stay perfect. We were greeted on arrival and helped with parking. We had electric and water to fill our holding tank was available. There is a great outdoor shower and lots of room to let your dogs run and exercise. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stop on our way from Key West to Tampa. Enjoyed sitting in screened in kitchen area at twilight overlooking the canal. Outdoor shower was bonus and fire pit.
We drive a small camper van that was easy to get to spot 5.

KOZEY CABIN camping experience
Jeff’s place is exactly as described. I was able to work on the front porch of the cabin or in the enclosed grill shed if raining. Beautiful property and Jeff goes out of his way to make sure you have what is needed. The outdoor shower was warm during the day (October). There is no AC or toilet in the cabin, so please keep that in mind. The host has made that clear on the site.

Bungalow in lush greenery
This reminded me of Gilligans Island.... a small bungalo nestled in between palm trees, green grass, and a canal that supported a lively night time song. I needed a no-frills stop over and that is exactly what I got. I wish I had more time to stay but I was assisting disaster response due to Ian, so I didn't have much leisure time. I did see a bear when I was driving out of the neighborhood, that was pretty cool....

KOZEY CABIN camping experience
What a fantastic and spacious location! Jeff was a wonderful host and the cabin was so comfortable.
There is a main house where Jeff stays and the cabin where we stayed. There is also a cute little country store where Jeff sells all sorts of unique items as well as small groceries like coffee, firewood, wipes, etc.
The cabin where we slept had a tv, comfy bed and mini fridge to store our food.
It’s called Hippcamp for a reason. It’s a glamping experience and you’re supposed to feel like you’re outside enjoying nature. The toilet was an outdoor toilet but it was manageable.
Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Me and my friends had a great weekend experience! Is a real camping feeling, with a huge space for dogs to play off leash! We loved the BBQ house close to the lake! We will be back in the future!

Serenity and comfort
This place is a Gem! Beautiful landscaping, quiet and private. A nice screened in porch to grill or make waffles. Or to hang out free from from skeeters and check out the water.
We really enjoyed our stay and wound up extending it by a couple of days. We were able to hook up to electric and got filtered water for our big tap jugs. There’s a nice shower and a hammock
to relax on between palm trees. There is lots of shade and my big dog had full run of five grassy acres. And then
there’s Jeff ( the host). I don’t think we will have a better host! He is so accommodating, pleasant and kind. I highly recommend his place and plan to be back!

It’s a notch above tenting!!
This place was super cool. The whole property is expansive. I was a super easy guest as I’ve spent lots of time traveling. Plus I’m a guy so I just peed out the door. Like Edward Abbey says, if you can’t pee out your front door, you’re living too close to town! I’ll definitely go back. Jeff was super cool!!

Jeff's property is well-maintained, right down to the sweet little touches, such as signs with lovely quotes on them. I love that the property had grassy fields rather than dirt, and cute little areas to relax by, such as the campfire pit, nestled in a corner, surrounded by boulders. It was a very earthy feeling. I enjoyed napping on the hammock too! Beautiful barbecue pit overlooking a canal and wildlife too view: I saw a deer! Most importantly, it is a pet friendly place!

Camping on a beautiful property
Primitive camping on a picturesque waterfront property on a former horse farm. Sites are well marked and plenty of space in between each, there is a camp toilet and outdoor kitchen pavilion for use if tent camping. We enjoyed a quiet evening with our dogs and only wish we could have stayed longer! Close to Naples for a day trip, but far enough away to escape the crowds of the city.

Beyond rustic…this was not glamping
If you are in an RV the overall site was acceptable. If you stay in the cabin however, I expected at least a porta potty, not a bucket that I had to change the “liner” garbage bag after use. In addition, the outside shower is in the complete open, make sure you have a bathing suit…

Beautiful, Well-Maintained Property
In addition to Jeff being a kind, accommodating host, his property is beautiful, well-maintained and has thoughtful little spots on it for relaxing or meditating. For example, a lovely hammock to rest on, a communal fire pit snuggled in a corner with beautiful boulders around it, etc. The property runs along a canal and has a beautiful grassy field area. It also has a screened in barbecue area with a grill. There are no nature trails to walk on the property, but there are some in a short driving distance. Jeff's property is my favorite Hipcamp property by far! In fact, we ended up staying an additional night!

Fantastic Naples Hipcamp
Great spot and wonderful host! Quiet and peaceful, and Jeff does a great job making sure you have everything you need. He even cooked pizza in his river hut on Friday. Make sure to visit and donate to the Kowiachobee Animal Preserve just a couple miles down the road.

Plenty of peace and quiet
The site is beautiful and off the beaten path. Only one other camper both nights we were there. Jeff was available, but not visible after greeting us and helping us with parking and electricity.
