This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

We have 22 level pitches well laid out and spread over two different fields served by hard tarmac track. A small river flows along the eastern edge of the site with mature trees by it giving good shelter. Overall the valley situation adds to the feeling of seclusion of this well-kept site. Picnic tables are located around the park for general use. We have eight hard standing pitches suitable for caravans, motorhomes and tents. There are cold water taps well-spaced around the touring fields and a closed in area for chemical /grey water waste disposal. The main heated shower and toilet block is centrally placed for convenient access. The park is divided into two areas:- Lower Willow – these are the pitches nearest to the road. These are amongst the largest pitches in the park and this area is recommended for those needing more space; Middle Willow – this is the main camping area with EHU available on many pitches and both hardstanding and grass. Nearest to the shower blocks, these pitches are great for families with plenty of space for the kids to play.

Bluebird is our beautiful yellow school bus complete with its own bus stop! When you book Bluebird, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for four guests with a double bed and bunk beds. You have a microwave, kettle and toaster in the kitchen area where you can eat at the breakfast bar. Cosy up at night watching tv or reading in front of the log burner. Outside, you have a picnic table and chiminea with wood, firelighters and matches provided so you can toast marshmallows or watch the stars. There is a decked area for you to use and you have full access to the campsite toilets and showers, as well as to the kitchen deck which is provided for our glamping guests. All bedding and towels are provided. Check-in is available from 1600 hours on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 1000 hours on the day of departure.

Millook, Shepherds Hut

We are proud to present our beautiful, blue shepherd’s hut, Millook, which sleeps up to four guests. There is a small seating area with TV, fridge and kettle inside. Externally, there is a decked area with a table, chairs and chiminea for guests to use. Millook is in a large, fenced enclosure which is vehicle free for your safety. There are also two camping pitches which are used at peak times. Guests staying in Millook have full use of the campsite toilets and showers, as well as the kitchen deck which is provided for our glamping guests. All bedding and one set of towels is provided, along with crockery and cutlery. Pans and cooking equipment are provided on the kitchen deck which also has gas burners, a freezer, wash up area and undercover dining area. All bedding and towels are provided. Check-in is available from 1600 hours on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 1000 hours on the day of departure.

The tents have a lovely view over the valley, campsite and neighbouring fields where you may get a glimpse of foxes or even deer. The decks are 8.5 m² and outside seating, lighting and a chiminea or fire pit are provided for use during your stay. All bedding and towels are provided. Check-in is available from 1600 hours on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 1000 hours on the day of departure.

It was a brilliant weekend in Bluebird - the comfy, spacious American bus. We loved every minute! The campsite is really well set up and peaceful, I'd highly recommend both the site and the bus.

Bluebird, The American School Bus

We had a great stay in the bluebird bus, our little boy especially loved it. Nice touches such as the welcome bag, biscuits, some tea and small squash. Logs and lighters for the chiminea and log burner all added to a fantastic stay. The campsite itself was really peaceful and relaxing. The toilets and showers seemed to be brand new and really clean. Great location for the beaches and walks. We will definitely be back.

Unique & Quirky Glamping Experience

Bluebird, The American School Bus

Our stay in Bluebird exceeded our expectations! The bus is fantastic and an incredible first glamping experience for our 2year old & 6year old boys! The bus was clean, comfortable and unique and the outdoor space was lovely, the boys loved toasting marshmallows in the firepit. Becky and John were wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming & it’s clear they have put a lot of love into the whole site. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quirky glamping experience with your family!

Middle Willow Grass Pitch (EHU)

The site was beautifully clean and well set up. Becky was so welcoming and helpful -she understood that my dog can be reactive and made sure we were able to be at a distance from other campers (he liked Becky!) There are plenty of water points, and dog bins. Shower and toilet facilities were very clean. .

Kernow Bell Farm at Willow Valley.

A lovely weekend stay in the Kernow Bell Tent at Willow Farm. Well equipped with electricity, a wood burner on an expansive deck and large cooking area so we were able to entertain visitors while we stayed in Bude. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Bluebird, The American School Bus

Fantastic accommodation on a lovely campsite. The bus sits beside a large decked area with seating, and parking is just beside it. The main facilities at the site are clean, in a good state of repair and a short walk away from the bus, with one toilet and wash up just around the corner. The bus has useful equipment including a kettle, fridge and TV. The beds are comfortable and the bus has plenty of heating options if the weather is cooler than it was in our visit. My daughter loved playing at being the ‘bus driver’ in the front seat as well as playing on the swings and games in the main camping area. The hosts were very friendly and the site felt safe. The location is quiet but convenient for Bude and other local attractions. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Bluebird, The American School Bus

What a lovely, clean and quiet site, a real gem. We stayed in the Bluebird bus and had a fantastic time. Our little girl and us loved the quirkiness of the bus. The site is surrounded by lovely countryside and gives you a little bit of back to nature feel with the sound of bird song around you. Already planning our next visit.

Jen was such a lovely host. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so kind to the children. We actually ended installing in another property at the camp but got to see the bus too. It’s beautifully kitted out and still has lots of original features which is cool.
