This is a really wonderful campsite truly in a forest and there are many places to pitch up. Facilitates are basic but the range who runs the place Steven is a really lovely guy indeed. My only negative would be, on the two nights we were there there was loud music that started at 8pm each night and went on to midnight which was a real shame as we had come for the wildlife and nature experience. However, during the day and the early morning the site was wonderful!

Spacious pitches choose from grassy or secluded woodland friendly hosts portaloos and water on the grass pitches spoiled for choice ! Would recommend for a wild camping experience firewood available to purchase will be returning

Overall we had a great experience. The pitches were spacious and the grass ones allowed you to have a fire.
Beautiful forest on site with long trails, it is worth exploring.

Had a lovely stay at this campsite. The best part was definitely the beautiful pine forest surrounding the area — peaceful, shady, and perfect for relaxing. The host was also really funny and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Would happily recommend it to any friends

We had a lovely hot Bank Holiday weekend, shaded by the woods where we could hang our hammocks and keep cool and relax. We loved having space in between the other campers, and the portaloos were immaculately clean.
We will definitely come back!

We had an amazing experience at Holistic Woods, Tobias and the team were so kind and helpful and we loved camping in the woods and having fires out in the fields. Feels wild and free, and loads of great local sites to explore (Orford Ness, Snape Maltings, canoe trips, oysters etc...).

Lovely time camping with the dog. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Lovely woods to walk through. We pitched just outside the woods so we could still have a campfire and had a lovely view. Highly recommend will definitely be back.

This wild campsite is great fun. We camped on the open field because we have solar panels that need sunlight but camping in the wooded area looks a lot of fun and quite magical. Tobias and Joe couldn't have done more to help us. The vibe is relaxed and friendly. The portaloos were clean and always had paper and detergent. There is no shop of any sort within walking distance so make sure you stock up. The firewood we bought for £10 a crate was plentiful and dry so it burned very well. Fires must be off the ground so bring a burner or pay a tenner to hire one of theirs. A great campsite for those looking for a (nearly) wild experience run by down to earth, charming, fun people who let you get on with it but are there if you need them.

I loved camping at Holistic. It’s a lovely, big space and you get the choice to camp on fields or in the forest. There are walking trails straight from the camp site and close enough for other forest walks. We did the UFO trail in Rendlesham forest. Host is friendly and tries to assist with any issues. We were able to camp with friends. I know some other places don’t allow larger groups. Overall a lovely experience. Thank you. 🙏

Holistic Woods Wild Campsite
We arrived here on Saturday afternoon and didn’t really know what to expect.
We were greeted at the gate and given instructions on the layout of the camping. You can choose from an open field to full on forest camping.
We stayed 2 nights and it was so peaceful, I can’t wait to go back.

A lovely location with attentive and friendly staff but I’m afraid the toilets are awful with only three portaloos to cover the whole site. I can forgive this but there needs to be at least a hand washing facility. Other than that it was a lovely place

A lovely part wooded campsite that was quite the weekend I visited. Excellent service and guidance from the owner.
Very basic facilities but that was fine with me and expected.
Lovely pitches in the woodland area and I saw three deer running through the trees when I arrived!

Such a lovely stay at a calm and tranquil campsite nestled in the woods but with plenty of open spaces too. Clean loos and easy access to the water. Best part was how quiet it was on a bank holiday weekend as its a huge site so everyone can spread out. Will definitely be back. Very friendly welcome and provided firewood and checked in that everything was ok.

For the cost of £39.98/ night for 2 adults I think the basic facilities of a toilet shower block should be expected, 1 water tap and 4-5 mobiloo’s is pretty poor, also no elsan facilities for those with their own toilet. Hopefully they will invest in the site for future visitors.
But a lovely location in the woods with nice walks, also able to walk in to Woodbridge and visit Sutton Hoo within hiking distance.

Loved the protected flat site: would be a great site even in the winds.
Firewood was also good burning and well priced.
Toilet was a bit skank, needed a decent clean and flusher didn’t work well.

Absolutely love this campsite , run by lovely people , sell the greatest fresh eggs on earth , the woods are so peaceful, literally feel like I’m on my own in the middle of no where , it’s the most perfect place to unwind , it’s wild camping without actually wild camping , luxury of a handy tap and a toilet. Just love it there ..

Had a great stay here. Found a great spot deep in the tall, pine tree woods. There were a few other people here, but still felt like I had the place to myself.
Was warmly welcomed by Joe on arrival. A super sound guy who explained the lowdown, and looked like he's go out of his way to help out with something you may need or may have forgotten.
All in all, a great spot... in a great spot. Had a great reset during my stay.
I was clinging onto 1 bar of a 4G signal (3network) for my stay. Just the right amount for being connected.

We loved our time at these woodlands, very peaceful and unique stay, we didn’t manage to see any animals but that’s just the nature of nature.
Also, Joe was super, we forgot our Braai and he kindly provided us with one to cook with. Definitely will return!
