We have a seven acre field set aside for glamping with a Safari Camp and Shepherds Hut overlooking our natural pond complete with island. Stroll 100 metres to the farm mini shop, book a breakfast, order one of our luxury picnics or book a local distillery taster tour. Friendly farm animals, quirky accommodation, sunsets and glorious views.Note tree house sleeps 2 additional guests sleep in 6m Bell tent At the top of your 18 foot ladder...you are cast away to another era filled with shipwreck luxuries, leather bound books and a cast iron wood fired stove. Set amongst the beautiful trees with breathtaking sunsets and endless stars. The space 2 guests Your Tree House has a double bed, an indoor wood burner for central heating and indoor cooking, little living room with dining table, a mini kitchen with gas camp stove and copper washing up bowl, an outdoor kitchen with wood stove, camp fire , a small ensuite wash stand and a private bathroom shed with a hot water into roll top slipper bath and toilet a few metres away. There is solar lighting and USB chargers for your phones we have pocket WiFi available. Set in a stunning 7 acre field with a cast away boat, lake/pond and island rope bridges you are hidden in the middle of a 30 acre working farm with sheep, cows, ponies, geese, ducks and wildlife as neighbours. You are in a very private setting, your nearest neighbour is at the other side of a field. Other things to note PLEASE READ: There are take out picnics and some delivery available from local pubs/restaurants prices £13.00-£25. 00p/p ***This is a very small, rustic space with the bedroom/living and wood stove kitchen at the top of the ladder and the bathroom, tub and shower in a shed 20 metres from tree house the ladder is exposed to all weather. ***You have to go outside to get to the bathroom shed. There is a mini outdoor camp kitchen. ***Winter: There is a well insulated very warm bedroom and living area. The specialist eco log wood burner heats both rooms to 25° when used correctly. *** There is mud, leaves, debris and myriad of insects, birds and wild animals everywhere. The floor and furnishings are rough wood with antique fabrics. The environment in a tree tends to be much damper than a normal open setting bring extra socks, warm pyjamas and extra towels. ***Everything is a little bit quirky and slightly more difficult but we have all the basics. Make sure you like small unique spaces, real rustic farms, rural charm and are prepared for a first hand experience of carbon neutral living in a woodland nature reserve. ***By booking with us you understand that this is an off grid glamping venue, there no power points or electricity however there is wood fired central heating, solar lighting and USB chargers, a cold shower and roll top bath that can be heated with pots of water from the fire pit and we have normal toilets. Note you have to go out in all weather to get to the bathroom shed.
