Large grass pitch - campsite 1
We all loved our stay at Wookey Farm. My children really loved watching the goats be milked, they loved visiting the pigs, sheep and donkeys. We enjoyed a little paddle in the river too. The children were so excited to see rabbits hopping around at night too! The site was well laid out, having a little patch edged with trees gave us a bit of privacy. Lovely to be able to have a camp fire too. Lots of really special experiences for our children. We were very impressed and were sad to leave. Will be back, I am sure of it. Thank you!

Perfect peaceful little haven
Lovely quiet site, booked 2 pitches next to each other for me and my friend. We stayed with electrical hook up and the spaces allocated were a fantastic size, own picnic tables, own fire pit and plenty of space to play in communal space between opposite sides. Only downside was someone was on our booked pitch and they had to move... ensuring we had our pitch available and vacant, I feel should have be checked. Thankfully they moved without issues. The loos despite being compost ones were very clean. My 10 year old daughter had never camped before and was scared... this site with the animals and stream was the biggest seller to my little nature bean. She loved it there as did my son 13 and a very reclusive foster child 14. We did 3 nights and will definitely go again. Animals lovely, well kept and very friendly. A nice cafe area in shop in the morning which served lovely tea and coffee and pre ordered pastries. Everyone on site from other campers to the farm workers and staff were all very friendly. Oh and there are wild black bunnies!!

Camping on a working farm
Such a lovely location, nice and quiet with stunning views. Was great for my little boy to watch the goats being milked and stroke the donkeys. The clear skies at night were incredible as there was no light pollution. Will definitely go back, I had an electric pitch for my camper van. Coffee in the morning was fantastic.

A wonderful long weekend. Site was full but quiet and calm. Pitches were clean and a good size, no issues with electrical hookup. Location ideal for exploring places of interest, onsite shop provided excellent coffees and pastries. We will certainly use the site again.

Beautiful campsite
This campsite was stunning! We had a private grass pitch which was so quiet and peaceful, with enough space for the tent and our tables and chairs outside. Playing on the swing in the stream was the highlight for the kids, that and feeding the animals. The coffee was excellent too! We’ll definitely be visiting again (despite the compost toilets, it was well worth it!)

Good size pitch. Great location, this was our second visit. Downside, this weekend ,lots of dogs, which is Ok but some of which were barking through the night which was annoying.

Back to basics, a touch of luxury
This is a fantastic campsite. The eco ethos was second to none. Encouraging people to recycle wherever possible including food waste and the compost loos we’re kept clean and tidy with running water to wash your hands and brush teeth. The river axe was low when we went so hard to wash in it but there is a leisure centre very near by at Wells that you can swim and shower at or there are showers to hire for £5 at Sheppton mallet if you really need to. The best part of this camping experience was the goats, donkeys, pigs and fire pits. You can see the goats being milked in the morning which was a real treat. We enjoyed walking down the river Axe with our dog, so take water shoes with you and shorts. The Wookey hub also provided excellent coffee in the mornings and croissants were available for pre order via text. A service which worked really well for us. We will go back to this campsite when it is just me, my husband and the dog. Whilst the 7 teenagers that we took really enjoyed themselves it was hard work for us!!! Sarah was very helpful and accommodating. We were in campsite 1 and the electric hook up was definitely very helpful. If you want so back to basics with a touch of luxury then this is the campsite for you.

Campsite 2 Open meadow grass pitch
Lovely 2 night mini camping trip at Wookey Farm. Stayed in the meadow field, basic with compost toilets & a wash basin. Lovely shallow river running along the site which the dog & our 4 year old loved. Campfires allowed (take your own fire bowl) 2 adorable donkeys, goats & proper coffee from onsite shop.! Visited cheddar gorge from the site about 20 mins away. Cute clean quiet spot , would recommend

Family camping
The farm is very relaxed and everyone was friendly. The on site shop is very handy, and sells warm pastries and hot drinks for breakfast. The river was very cold, it is shallow and the kids loved playing on the rope swing. They also loved petting the farm animals and Priddy the farm dog. I would definitely recommend this site and will be returning.

Was a lovely stay at the campsite. Compost toilets were clean and well kept. Site was level and family friendly. We didn't take our doggies this time but did meet many other dogs there. Sadly lost 2 meals worth of food to other campers dogs and the campsite dog. There is a lovely farm shop on site open from 8 until 10, small GF selection available but the hot chocolate was delish. Children loved the goats and the piggies. Lovely stay.

Expensive for what it was. Felt this could have been a much better site with proper flushing toilets, and the long nettles near the washing up/pizza oven place tidied/cut back. Fire pits and pitch layout was great.
